Emig always looked cool as hell when he was on a bike........it didn't matter who he was riding for or what brand of gear he was wearing.....he just always looked the best out there.

I agree. Always thought Emig had the best gear and bike combos.

You left out the Black Camo gear from 98-99 era but Smile

A couple from my collection, I always loved these 2 gear designs. You can see where he cut the wrists for air flow on the top one.

That late 90s era Shift gear is some of the best looking gear ever made.

I agree. I would still wear it today if it was made out of modern materials. And I remember drooling over those fox helmets when they first came out. My cousin won one at a race in Sherwood and we just stared at it forever haha

Emig is a guy that overcame a speech issue to be an announcer. I don't think that riding a motorcycle was his biggest challenge. He confronted his biggest challenge, and he's winning.

But yes, the guy knows how to ride a motorcycle.

Emig = badass for sure. Unfortunately he had to race against MC all those years in SX , but in the outdoors he looked awesome. I Think it was 97-98 When our local guy McCormick was leading by a good margin and for a good first 1/3rd of one of the motos , and then Emig got him and it blew the wind right out of Jason's sail. Emig was on rails that day and smoked everyone both motos. He had that Kawi singing every where and looked good doing it.

I was always a huge fan of Jeffro. It was a combination of his style, his mastery of Red Bud and the fact he could take it to Jeremy outdoors. One of my favorites by far and yeah the Shift Gear he wore is still iconic looking.
