The air fork may complicate it. Give Rick Johnson (no, not THAT Rick Johnson) a call at too tech. He’s got an engineering background and is a vet racer, and will talk you through modifications. Easy to talk to. I was really impressed.

Also, I’ve got a photo of Carmichael’s 2007 450. I swear it looks like the suspension was lowered. Gotta find that photo.

The Ride Engineering performance link for the Husky/KTM lowers the back around 6mm. You can adjust for that and in combo with the thinner seat, you may be happy.

The Honda was Ashley Fiolek’s, lowered about 2 inches I believe.

I am 240lbs, 6 foot 1 and I am trying lowered forks because after 15 years on Suzuki it corners like a chopper.

It amazes me people can lower the back end with a link and not make serious changes to the forks

FGR01-This was precisely the link I ordered along with the lower seat. but did not order the lower fork kit. Maybe I should? And RC had all of his bikes lowered I believe with sub frame, seat, and suspension. I look that guy right in the eye!

The Zeta kit for the shock is not a link. It is a spacer that goes in the shock and reduces the overall extended length of the shock. The difference from a link is it does not alter the linkage ratio or the swingarm's relationship to shock position like changing the link does.

That's really clever, you should be able to let the gas out the shock, fit that and regas it

Yep, you have it exactly right. That is how it is installed.

I am a shorter rider and I have liked a link arm on all my bikes except for my YZ250. I had a PC link arm in my old 350 and really liked it. I decided on my 19 350 to try to get the suspension set up without first and try something different. I know Tony Cairoli runs a link arm to lower the bike and JH does not.

Short guy here as well. I'm 5'5'' and usually I run a lot of sag (110mm), order tall pegs, and take the seat cover off and cut down the seat 8-10mm. Also, you can elongate the holes where your subframe bolts to you frame on the sides to make the subframe lower but I wouldn't recommend that. To me, a lower bike makes me ride better, especially in the corners. I had to do all those mods to my YZ250 to make me ride more to my potential. I didn't have to do that on my KX250f. Some bikes are not as tall.
