Don't know if I remember a time where 100LL is cheaper than 91 pump.
Chevron down the street wants $5.20 for 91 and Long Beach Airport has 100LL for $4.59
Obviously other states without our crazy taxes have 91/93 for less, but fwiw a good time in Cali. for 100LL.

and North, Flabob is $4.65 and San Bernardino is $4.72 for 100LL
It's more than just taxes.
Aviation fuel?
Total is $1.19 and $.18 of that is the federal tax, so California tax and fees is about $1 even.

The main reason I posted this is the historical oddity of 100 octane avgas being cheaper than 91 pump.
Pit Row
Or you can run it 100% to be able to add timing.
Optimally you'd also rejet/remap A/F at that point to get the most out of it.
Apparently Flightaware isn't keeping up on updating their prices but it's worth it to check.

Think airnav is more accurate and has the dates of the last quote.

Not sure if this is an ops rule at LGB only or something new in Cal.,
but definitely call ahead for anyone using the flightaware/airnav links above.
