Anyone think that maybe the 2 stroke class may have been a little bit more of a show than race last night? Stank and Mac in the finals? Did that really legitimately happen??? I loved it but really???

I think it was not a government conspiracy, but a real race.
Amazing that anyone could think the race was fixed to NOT put RV in the final! Dude hasnt raced in America in 2 years, but yeah its better to rig it to put stankdog up there
At one point when RV had lost a race and Ronnie Mac was 1 away from the finals, I thought it might be fixed. But watching Ronnie race has ass off and RV do the same only to maker a small mistake, I decided it wasn't fixed.
Hats off the everyone for a great, entertaining event!
Who thinks Stankdog vs Ronnie is better then
Ronnie vs RV?
Ronnie vs Reed?
Reed vs RV?
Mike Brown vs GNCC Sipes?
That class was awesome, no matter who advanced and who didnt. Even without Reed

RV is the man and I had him winning even if Reed was able to race. I also had Ronnie Mac acting a little more normal and throwing some beers around but Mac was ready!
I'm not exactly sure why so many people had RV picked for this. He's never raced a 2 stroke at a professional level has he? And based on the past few interviews it doesn't even sound like he rides anymore.
The 2 strokes are harder to ride which made for better racing IMO. Dump the 4 strokes and have a 125, 250 and 500cc 2 strokes classes. Pastrana could bring his 500 backout again.

Its funny people saying it was fixed or a "show". We saw actual racing without the displacement advantage and brand politics.

I think RV just rode like a guy that used to be fast who no longer trains and who has never ridden a two stroke on a sx track. I don't think it was rigged
I don't think it was rigged because if it was you would have had RV moving on, but I know if I was the promoter me and my checkbook may have had a talk with Sipes when the possibility of RM69 going the the main occurred.
Damn that sucks. I remember a certain racer from Oklahoma mentioning how he wasn't really interested in racing SX anymore so to hear that is pretty rough.
I thought Top Jimmy wouldn't be willing to take any big risks after that nasty broken back he suffered in Daytona. Guess not.
Nah, it looked legit to me.
You could see the intensity of Jimmy..ahem..Ronnie. Those first gen Honda's were pretty brutal.
2 strokes are a great leveller.

I think it speaks loudly of the state of our sport when a retired racer(s) and Ronnie Mac on 2 stroke machinery garners the level of interest they have. I have to admit, I was more interested on who would win this than any of the other "current" riders. Perhaps there is something to be learned from this. Does the sport need more "characters" or has the racing become boring?......food for thought.
I recorded it. Skipped most of the 4 stroke races except Hannys. Watched the 2 stroke races and Hanny/ Moosecan. The rest of the races, had zero interest in them.
Seemed like the retired guys were having the most fun which generated the most interest to me. Two two stroke latter legends in the final. Loved it

only "rigged" thing to do with the event w/Red Bull (Austrian) and KTM (Austrian) and not 1 other factory effort there, still was entertaining though

It's never a good sign when the "sideshow" has more interest than the main event!! Supercross announcement today....perhaps someone has recognised a need for change.
That wheelie in the final round was next level. Dude has an enormous sack.. He attacked that course harder than anyone all night.

all you can do is ask the other manufactures why they weren't there to put on a show for the crowd.. like every year, they were all invited.
I noticed a lot of Shenanigans in the stands. Looked like multiple fights among the typical Pamona crowd.
