Your Mom's home owners should cover that.

Good luck

There are policies out there for around $100.00 a year that will cover your bike for theft if you bike is in your garage, or out on the road to races.

PM me if you are interested in the policy info.

Good luck getting your bike back.
i really feel for this guy because just 6 months ago some one robbed my house stole 3 bikes and my truck and everything they could haul out. IM STILL PISSED. no offence to your wife but those people are crooks. you pay and pay and pay and they %uck you over too. give me one good reason why they shouldnt be covered its just bs period.heres another great ins story. when they recovered my truck the ins co and i met up at the bodyshop to look my truck over. when i picked it up i asked the body shop manager why stuff hadnt been fixed and refused to pick it up and kept my rental. he told me the ins co sent another adjuster out there and they decided not to fix everything that was damaged and they were supposed to inform me , well they didnt. luckily i used to run a shop so i knew how things worked. but they still worked me over on the other stuff

HOLY SHIT I just looked at my paperwork and found out I paid $500.00 for RPM One Theft Protection. If my bike is stolen within 5 years, I get $5000.00 toward a new bike. WTF!?

Since HSBC is the registered OWNER and im the consumer, HSBC gets $5000.00 for the bill so the bike is paid off to them (fine with me, better than being in the hole and bikeless). I would have to finance a new bike

Technically, that would likely be good for your credit, as it shows it paid off early
BTW, make sure you stay current on your payments until HSBC is paid so you don't pooch your credit, making buying the next bike harder.

Again, congrats

What sucks is this... you work and work to buy stuff, then some asshole steals your S&()/. You pay to protect stuff you already worked for.. it makes me mad, we do it but...

Sorry about your bike. I am down the road from 29 Palms right now... I will keep an eye out since we are riding in the area until the 7th.

Thanks all and I appreciate the comments flarider.

I just talked to an agent at RPM One Theft Protection Systems and I was told that if my bike doesnt reappear in 30 days and my claim doesnt get denied, I will get either $3000.00 (09 KX250f) or $5000.00 (09 KX450f) toward a new bike. Have to send in my paperwork tomorrow. They do not give HSBC anything at all, they give the money straight to the dealership I got the bike from so I go there and pick out a new one. If this isnt bullshit, itll be amongst one of the best things Ive ever gotten for $500.00. 30 days from Christmas is right around my birthday, well see how it goes... Please wish me luck, need all I can get right now.
