Came out yesterday (Christmas Eve) to visit my mom here in Twentynine Palms and woke up Christmas morning (today) to see that my bike/stand/gas can were stolen out of my truck overnight. Had it locked with 2 steel braided cable, and un-cutable lock, and a Kryptonite U-lock attached to my truck but all cables were cut. The Kryptonite U-lock is definitely still on there so these dirtballs tweakers dragged it into the desert then came with a truck to load it up. Guess they got another bike across town the same way... What kind of people steal someones bike on Christmas? If its recovered, im going to hope all charges possible are pressed and I plan on suing for any and all damages.

Please keep an eye out for me, thank you guys.

My name is Preston, my number is 760-333-3922.

VIN#: JKAKXGDC37A018797 Motor will have no numbers on the cases because I recently had to replace 90% of the motor including the cases

2007 KX450f. I took off my graphics so there were no graphics on the fork guards, shrouds, or rear fender, just 205 on the number plates. Rear black Excel, front stock wheel, pretty worn rear tire. Black Renthal Twinwall Windham bends, Pro Circuit 22mm clamps, FMF Ti system- Megabomb and 4.1 anodized blue. Red engine plugs and front wheel spacers. Those things stick out the most.

Sorry to hear this! hopefully they get what they deserve, check every craigslist you can, other moto sites and ebay. If they cut and did that much to get the bike out then it must have been planned. I am in phoenix, just moved here, I will keep a eye out for you also.

Just a thought. COntact your auto insurance company and see what they will do. It won't hurt to ask.

There is a reason we have all sneaked our bikes into hotels rooms, because of slime like this. Hope you get it back.

So sorry for you. Christmas or any time, assholes will steal. I have got so parinoid lately that I have made my house like a fortress, I dont leave the keys in the car overnight. I bought lights that come on auto outside. And I even keep a 22 pistol in my computer desk.. The bikes are in my basement..I cant understand Y U left them in your pick up overnight WTF.. Insurance sounds good on the bikes, but but

Good idea on the insurance company!!! Leave everything just the way it was when you first seen it and dont touch a thing!! The proof of all the locks and cables cut and broken might help out. I dont know for sure, just trying to help, Take pics of everything asap the way they left it. Good luck

Guys like this should be gutted like a fuckin pig and hung from a fuckin tree. Call me bad but I hope the guy dies on your bike. Your best bet would be to set up a trap with someone else's bike.

My mom got home from work soon after I found out it was stolen, one of the few times Ive heard her curse. Im angry/depressed/confused, but my mom seems like shes taking it a bit harder because she knows how much I love MX and how long it took me to get a new bike

Dude, that sucks big time!! I hope you somehow find your bike in one, unabused piece but also hope you find it atop of however stole it with their face burned off by the exhaust or something equally fitting for a bike thief.

I would think that auto or home insurance should cover it, especially auto. I remember loooking into this back when I had a pick-up about 5 years ago. State Farm said they would cover the contents in the bed. However, they would not cover my bike if I was going to/coming from a race since they do not cover racing vehicles.

Good Luck!!

Oh man- I really feel for you. That completely sucks. Don't give up hope...the only consolation is they must be some sick, miserable excuses for humans to be out stealing bikes on Xmas.

I am not a know it all, But the only thing that a insurance company might say is "if it has a vin number on it it should have its own insurance policy" IDK for sure.

Sorry about your bike. The dickholes that took it need to have their balls cut off and then set on fire. You can try to sue the bastards, but most likely, even if you win, you won't get anything out of 'em because they aint got nothing to speak of. It should be legal to hook up about 50,000 volts to those cables and teach these guys a lesson that they won't survive Smile

Sorry to here that, try your Mom's home owners insurance, it was parked on her property, so it would be worth the call. Good luck
