What are the stock spring rates on the front and rear for 13' yz250?

What weight is that generally good for?

I weigh 150 w/ no gear and feel like this is bouncy and harsh compared to my buddies stock crf250 suspension

Thanks!

Typically four strokes are valved "slower" than two strokes were. The YZ250 springs should be fine for you depending on your speed. If you're a B or faster guy, just get it re-valved for your weight/speed. If you're Novice/Junior/C you might consider a slightly softer shock spring unless you expect to grow heavier soon.

At 160 lbs and B class rider (or 30+ A) I run different valving and I use the stock shock spring with stiffer .47 fork springs. I do ride the front pretty aggressively though.

Play with your high speed damping on the shock. I run mine out at 1-3/4 turn. You may have to compensate with some low speed damping and rebound. MXA's setting from their test is a pretty good starting point...

At 155 pounds b rider ive never had to swap springs. At 160 FC recommends a stiffer rear spring. Im on my 5th yz 250, but i am looking forward to trying the rear spring soon.
