HIs ride at Highpoint that year was crazy to me... Fucking standing up through those ruts literally on a trail ride.

Look at the triple he hits 35 seconds into the super cross video. Thru 5 guys no hesitation

He went from last to first also. I think it was 04 on the 125 maybe 03 outdoors.

it was 2003 Budds creek. He was out the first four rounds due to a broken collarbone at Las vegas. He came back and won every moto he entered... Including the 2nd moto at budds creek where he crashed on the start line only to pass the leader Ivan tedesco at around the 20min mark.

Most epic rides were him on a 125 bar none

Hearing the crowd go nuts as he gets closer to the front must be such a rush. Also Barcia should listen to where Stewie rides in the RPM range.

The pocket to hit that quad in the rhythm section.... Yikes!

That's why they earn the big bucks!

One of my favorite SX races to rewatch. Man I had it on my DVR forever until I had to get a new one. Angry

Didn't Jeremy McGrath get stuck in the gate in a 125 main on the PC/Peak 125 and end up going from last to first? Anyone?

What a ride. I would love to see him have a redemption year, and win one more SX championship. I know its a long shot, but really he should have had more championships its just that he got derailed somewhere along the way and never quite got back to the form he had. I don't know that it could happen anymore, but I would still like to see him go out on top.

That ride is one of the many reasons why he is one of, if not, the most talented riders on the planet.

Crazy balls Stew, as Matthes would say.

He was on a mission that night.

Watching James ride when he's on it ,is a thing of beauty. I wish he would come back with that kind of fire in his belly again. Very , very fun to watch.

The caption to the video was "Ride along with James Stewart as he dominates the competition and makes his way up to 2nd on the all time win list."

Less than 1000 days later he's washed up and only deserves a support ride, according to some people on this forum.

Crazy how things change. I wonder what I could do in a thousand days?

Awesome shit! I still think he is capable of this. He's not "OLD"... Yeah life, and situations have come up, but as with any man coming of age, we adapt.

I still have hope!

That is the best and worst thing about watching Stewy. You know dam well one of these rides is still in there. He has done it too many times to discount him when he lines up.

What I wouldn't give to see one more ride Thule that.

Those whoops were gnarly.

And how he didn't instantly endo through some of the rhythms is beyond me!

I just watched the whole "show." Oh how things have changed. Cool race though!

Race Notes.

Villo was sick as a dog, he didn't practice and went straight to qualifying. He had nothing for James

The rhythm lanes were crazy. So many options. I was on edge watching, the riders were all doing different combos.

The end of the whoops was gnar. All the riders were getting out of shape right there, including James

Davalos was the a hear race hero. Shocker

AC has the red plate, but gets his shoulder banged up. The beginning of the end? I forget...

Wyndham is in the booth and he's good. They should invite him back more instead of Ricky IMO.

Yeah and how about Tomas 14th to 1st at Glen Helen at the USGP? And this just happened. With all the talent Stewart had he underachieved for his career. Only 2 450 SX titles and one 450 outdoor. Reed has the same amount and didn't have close to the talent or speed when Stewart was at his best.
