Well, going by championships - Since moving to the premier class in 2009 RV has 4 SX titles and 2 Outdoor titles to Stews 1 SX (2009)

When you mention those 2 my most vivid memory is the move Stewart put on Arvee at MEC. Incredible

I believe Arvee has better stats than JS.

I wanna say Stew won a little over 20 races with RV and RV won probably a little over 35 with Stew on the Gate. There are just spit balling here. RV I believe is the only rider to have head to head advantages on everyone in his career. I can’t think of any other rider to do that.

He was comparing when they both were in the same class at the same time.

SX championship races only. I'm actually surprised it was this close, I thought Rv would have had him covered, but Stewart was missing during alot of RV's wins

Have you forgotten about a guy named Ricky Carmichael?

First off I was wrong about RVs win against Stew I forgot every win he had in 10 Stew was out. No I have not. RC beat him for SX titles but RC won 8 SX races against Stew and Stew won 16 SX races against RC and in that time frame Reed won 4 when all three were on the line.

Not even comparable.

I guess we can ask who won more races; MC or RC when they lined up together?

Stewart was on the decline the moment he left Kawasaki. I still take peak James over peak RV but when racing each other there is no doubt that RV was the better rider

RV is #2 all time in my book with 9 titles to RC's 15 and Jeremy's 8... beating James, Chad and Dunge who are also pantheon guys... Add in some legendary MXdN performances and he's potential goat material. Dungey is lucky RV's ACLs like to pop.

And I think he'd have given RC more of a run than James did for titles for sure. He was fast as a scalded cat and bloody consistent.

Outdoors, RC vs. JS:

RC & Stewart raced each other 23-times
Carmichael won 20 out of 23
Carmichael's win percentage over Bubba = 86.9%
RC's win % in the 450 class was 85.61.
