Edited Date/Time:
Saturday Steve won 8 of 9 special tests with Christoph Nambotin 2nd and title rival Luic Larrieu 3rd. Steve only needed 7 points to clinch so Sunday will not matter.
After rumors that KTM and Husqvarna are not going to field factory teams next year, a rule revision was also announced. The E3 class for over 450 4t's and over 250 2t's will be reinstated to attract more entries (this has traditionally been the 300 2t class). That makes this the only year that all 250 and up competed directly together, and although there is the overall EnduroGP title, a rider that needs to clinch the title in one class is unlikely to risk a World Championship in an attempt to secure one by a different name.
For reference for Moto fans of these riders speed, Moto of Nations star Christophe Charlier finished almost 3 minutes off of the lead today in 7th.
