Staunton MX reviews

Next week our local series Grassroots MX is racing a new track in Indiana, Staunton MX. It would be quite a haul for me, and I've never been there, so I'm looking for opinions on the place. Worth the drive?

The track is a highway and kind of reminds me of the Badlands moto track when they tried to race it 4 or 5 years ago. Its a pretty nice facility though I'm only 45 minutes away so it isn't that bad.

Very, very fast. Like 2 medium size MX tracks tied together with long dirt drag strips. Well maintained facility.

Owner is a great guy. Track is fast for sure. It's still evolving as most new tracks do. Gets pretty hard packed though.

I talked with the owner about it being so hard pack. They're considering different options to soften it up.
Make sure if you go, say hello to the owner. Don't be afraid to critique the track but be cool about it. He wants it to be a great place.
