Has worn a jersey to a SX or outdoor. Time to get it off your chest and be free. We won't laugh much.

Proudly can say I never have. But I would put money on it that that Grizz fellow wears his jersey to the races with his fancy name and number on the back he got printed from BTO.

Smartass, Smile let me rephrase that. A SX or outdoor where you were not a participant. Extra shame for the jersey being more than 15 years old and made by Oneal, Yoko, or Fox.

I have. I've got an old college friend who is currently a VP of merchandise marketing for Feld, or something like that. Anyway, him and some of my other friends started calling me two five four after wearing one to Atlantai in 1990.

I did that all the time when I was a kid. It was fun and I still have a bunch of jerseys with rider signatures all over the back.

I did to my first one. I didn't know any better. No name and number though. To make matters worse, my wife (fiancé at the time) wore an almost matching jersey. We thought it was pretty cute. Blush

Nope, but then I didn't start riding and racing all the time until I was 30 so that would've been extra laughs if I had!

The reason I thought about it in the first place is I was wearing a 10 year old Fly jersey cutting on the table saw because the material is slick and the sawdust blows off it easier. I'm out in the country so no chance of anyone seeing me.

Next thing you'll be telling me, THIS isn't okay. Karen's Grandson found my 96 jersey rootin through the closet last weekend. Still fits, too. Me, not him. Meh, he'll grow into it. To his Fathers horror. Muwahahahaha.

Is there a stigma about this somehow, like wearing an x shirt to an x concert? There doesn't seem to be one if you're a football or basketball fan.

In 7th grade I thought it'd be cool to wear my jersey (just an off th' shelf Fox thing) to school. Well, one of the bro kids, Chris, called me out. He was a pretty big kid, and the year before he had done a class presentation saying he rode a 250 (2-stroke, since this was 2000) and could do a superman. At like 12 y.o. Grinning

Chris said, "You ride?" I go, Yeah. He says, "What kind of bike?" Honda. He says, "No, your jersey's blue! Yamahas are blue! You're a poser!"

You can't make this stuff up, folks. (p.s. It was an '88 and the plastics were actually orange.)

Last season in Detroit, I wore a Dirt Shirts sweatshirt from the 1992 outdoor season which featured Damon Bradshaw to the SX and I got several compliments and one offer of $100 from a 20+ year old. Didn't sell though. Can't buy that stuff anymore.

I did it while I was still a teen.

I've also attended a SX on crutches. Tell the truth. You've all likely done that too.

Oh yeah, classic. I don't know what it is about motocross but for some reason it encourages a lot of fibbing by people who don't actually do it.

One kid who use to talk a big game in highschool about how he also raced motocross once sent a photo of me jumping a jump to a girl claiming it was him. Somehow the photo got back to me I think through instant message so after I stopped laughing I zoomed the photo in on my number plate to show where my name was printed right above my number.

In 1985, at the tender age of 14, I went to my first supercross. I was really on the fence about wearing my jersey or not. I had never raced yet but I was about a week away from my first time. I was an 80cc beginner and a nerd in school, but even I chose not to do it. Just sayin' Whistling

I lost track of all of the wal-mart X jerseys I saw at the Dallas SX a couple of years ago, Goooo Team Wally. I was almost in tears seeing those jerseys with the cowboy boots and hats.

Never wore a moto Jersey anywhere except to ride/race but I did have a long sleeve T-shirt with LET THERE BE ROCK printed on the back. It was the late 70's and I was/am a mega AC/DC fan. I lived in that thing and wore it to every race.
