Overload from Statefair shutting down and Pala being closed for the National. Looking forward to getting back out to Perris and Pala in the next few weeks. Work had me sidelined for a bit.

Reminds me of how busy Cahuilla was the couple years Pala was shut down.

Trans Am race at Glen Helen was awesome this weekend, but much lower turn out than what I remember from recent years. Sounds like everyone was out practicing haha...

Did 4 motos on Saturday and 2 yesterday. Saturday motos were 6 laps at 3 min lap times too, so I sure I got my riding in. 5 lappers yesterday and I was gone by 1:30 since I was race 3. Absolute blast on what I consider the best layout we get all year at that track.

Elsinore was the same way today, complete mad house.
Any idea on what these tracks make a year?
i cant imagine they are rolling in it. lets say you get 100 bikes in on a day. so you got 3k for your day.
Im sure 100 would be average on a weekend in socal? maybe less and maybe more on some. Who knows about mid week.

But lets say they get 3k every day on the weekend, so 6k per weekend 4 weekends a month. 24k.

Im pretty sure most of these tracks bar glen helen and LACR dont own their land and have a rent to pay. who knows how much it is. Then i cant even begin to imagine the insurance costs. Plus your porta potty fees, any and all track work plus renting the equipment or buying it. Water trucks. plus your gate and flagger workers payroll.

I cant imagine its very profitable unless your holding events. I hope im wrong. i would love to own one one day
