You’d think so idk. I’ve not had the best impression of those guys. Milestone looked like a track in a junkyard when I went there. JS63 was a “big deal” then crickets. They also denied milestone closing. But who knows do they still run anything else at this point? They had 3 tracks at one point a few years ago then one by one they’ve gone away either to new management or land taken away/Sold.

This has been known for month, not sure why state fair has been so secretive about it, but it was hush hush. Maybe they thought they could save it.

When the track at the Santa Clara County fairgrounds was closing they were straight up about it and got tons of people coming out the last few weekends to say goodbye

Probably for doing an interview with the new operators of the Perris track. I got a threatening text message from one of the operators of State Fair (prior Perris and Milestone) after it about how I was all the problems of the moto industry for doing it, and people like me are why they quit going through with JS63, etc etc etc... Comments about defamation and layers... Good stuff.

So if anyone wants to know why JS63 didn't happen, I guess blame me?

100% they would make more money going that route.

Urgency and scarcity are 2 of the oldest and most effective ways to market and/or sell something.

I was blocked as well.... I went on my wifes IG to see if it i was tripping... They didnt block her lol.

For all those who are wondering, I think the rebuilding the dam part was a perfect timing excuse. There's been a money laundering scheme going on with the tracks that they owned and was funneling back to Bike-lifer's stuff through free the peeps. Which went back to the east coast. I'm not sure if there was a indictment or something...

I found this out through a person who was good friend with Sloan (Who died in that drug deal in arizona). I also did some digging around of who owned social media accounts and the groups they were affiliated with. They didn't cover there tracks too well.

Sucks to see another track go down.

Sounds about right for them.

Thanks for ruining JS63 for us Michael! laughing

I had called on This last Sunday to ask if they would be open Monday. They sounded iffy and said to call in the morning to make sure as they had an event that Sunday. 15 mins later I saw their Instagram post about being perm closed.

I follow a fella on Instagram who I guess was banned from perris and state fair and usually had bad things to say about this aaron guy, referred to him as a track killer.

Growing up there were so many tracks now there’s Glen Helen lacr elsinore. Pala and cahuilla are a bit of a drive for me in the 818. I always stAyed here in SoCal even tho most of my close friends and fam have moved because of moto but now it may be time to leave

We’re doing better up here in Norcal at least. I used to want to move south, but now I’m happy with what we have here - a good place to find to ride 5 days a week that’s prepped

the only way mx tracks seem to make money is if they are involved in money laundering operations or something illicit

there was a track in south new jersey about 15 years ago that was a front for a meth lab

Damn that’s pretty heavy. I’d like to know more about this aaron character and all the things that have happened with his tracks. I’d imagine the family must be pissed if he was gonna name a moto complex after their son and then just bailed.

How long was that track in operation? Pala, cahuilla, I believe are both on Indian land so that’s how they get away with their use. The elsinore gate dude told me they had a CUP permit of some sort that’s good for 20 years. Perris recently was bought from that shady Aaron guy and the guys doing it up seem to be in it for good reasons and have made some nice improvements to it. I know these bleeding heart liberal states make it really hard to open a track with all the environmental bullshit too. I’d love to open a track some day and give people a great place to moto

Depending on what you do there is somewhat affordable places to live in the valley. Just like AZ, it’s hella hot in the summer but it does have 4 seasons. You’re also in between Mountains and the ocean, which is awesome.

But if budget isn’t an issue, you can live anywhere from the Bay Area to Tahoe and in between and ride at Hangtown, riverfront, Mammoth Bar MX, e street, MMX, Diablo, club, or Argyle.

Then you can also drive a little bit and go to The Oatfield, Little Okie, Sac raceway, the new Fernley track outside of Reno, and a couple other tracks up towards Redding.

Yeah lots of options if you end up in the sac area. Fresno Central Valley not as much DT1, Porterville, oatfield, okie, KCRP, American. All an hour or more drive.

Rumor is oatfield was sold and is closing end of the year. I don’t know how much truth is to that but would be a bummer.

Porterville is kinda of in limbo 2x promotions runs it currently but a brand new Casio was just built next door. It is an OHV funded park and is on city property with a park/sports complex and the airport. So hopefully they don’t actually get shut down. But people are nervous with the new casino.

Do they still have "Friday night SX" out at Sac raceway? Used to race there all the time as a kid in the late 90's.

Hate seeing any tracks close down. I guess I was a bit spoiled growing up with all the tracks in Nor Cal. Hangtown, Riverfront, Estreet, Mammoth bar, Argyle, Clubmoto in Livermore, Hollister hills, Sac Raceway, all within 90 min of my house.

Damn you guys got a lot of tracks up there. Down here so many have closed. I think I have maybe 6 public tracks within a 2 hour drive of any direction.

Az doesn’t have as many tracks but has enough and just the cost of living and all that. Californias gun laws are a joke and the criminal punishments are a joke it’s just getting hard for me to stomach knowing they’re taking a chunk of my income and using it for ways I don’t agree with at all.

It’s not bad. I am from Florida originally and grew up racing there and I had quit for a while and all the Moto up here made me get back into it once worked moved me out here. For me to leave here, I’d have to go to central Florida as the only place that matches the amount of options I have up here for Moto. SoCal is still solid, but with another track closing making it worse too, it’s just way too crowded at the tracks generally.

Going against the train here a bit.
Although I do know there is some truth to the comments, I’m sure he was in positions where he was forced to be the ass due to his job. “Walk a mile in his shoes”. He was not the owner and the new track was not his kids name. For whatever the reasons they have lost or sold the tracks that is on them.
We have appreciated all the tracks they have been running for years. Who ever builds these tracks is rad! Most usually everything is safe. Usually staffed with good flaggers. ALWAYS fantastic prep and watered. I for one liked how often they watered. Then they would rip and till deep which would make good ruts. Had the fast pass program for $80 a month and at one time was for 3 different tracks. Open for riding most days. Great at posting on IG their conditions and if closed (I think they were the first). Catered to everyone form beginner to pro.

I thank them for what they have provided!
