Shame he couldn't run it with having to do 2 35 minute moto's on the 250SX. Would have loved to see him in that race.
You can only stretch your body so far. Plus, there was no $ to be made to help out him during the season.
I'm not even sure current Pro's were even eligible. But he would have made a great show of it. Just my 2 cents .

You're not allowed to race both the exhibition 125 race and either the 250 or 450 Pro motos.

Go to Racer X. They have the whole race, plus Pingree goes down the line describing each 125

Like Michael said, Pro's are allowed to race the 125 All Star race however if they do they'll have to forfeit the right to race in the 250 and 450 pro classes for that specific event.

Anyone know the reason behind that decision? Track advantage?

If the race was run after the two consi races, right before 250 moto 1, a 250 rider wouldn't be able to do it because they have to be in staging like 20 mins before their race or something like that? Not just the bike, but rider as well. If they did the 125 race, they'd forfeit their first moto gate pick.

Thanks. That makes more sense than having some form of track advantage.

Unrelated. Just curious, have you ever made the fast 40 at a national? If so how'd you do? If not what's the closest you've gotten? Never attempted, disregard.
