My dad has a 2000 F250 7.3 as well with 380K on the clock, Tranny went out at 120k but that's about all that's been a problem with it.
Not a fan of the newer emission stuff, Too complicated for me. Congrats OP, That is a beautiful truck.
If you get a message that you should continue to drive due to a regen, its because your drive cycle hasnt allowed it to complete one as of late, and it needs to complete. If you use your truck even remotely like its supposed to be used (more than a 2 mile commute day in day out with nothing else ), you'll never see this message. The only way youll know its in regen is from the smell, and the drop in fuel eco.
Got 19 mpg cruising at 72 - and didn’t get one regen message. I’m going to drive it until something goes wrong (if it does), then I’ll worry about pulling the emission b.s. off!!
Never thought I’d put baby in a corner ?

My 2013 F350 dually is over five years old and has been flawless. Never been in for any kind of repair. I have it as a tow vehicle and moto hauler so it only has 50,000 miles on it but I tow a 44-ft. toy hauler through the mountains and used to tow a 28 foot cabin cruiser. It's stock and gets about 10MPG towing and 14.5 MPG around town and hauling motos.
My Raptor has a 35 gallon tank and love the range. The only bummer is having the pump shut off at $100 and still needing to put another $20 in it if it's empty!
