2016 KTM 350 SXF. I am a 48 yo vet intermediate coming off a 2005 RMZ 450. My son races and gets all the new bikes. This is my first new bike since 2006. I cannot wait to ride her, hopefully tomorrow. A big thanks to Bert and Todd at SLM Racing/KTM of N. Texas.

Cool, congrats on a great bike, I'm 54 and thinking the 350 might be on my hit (bucket) list. I like the idea of using the wife's wallet, you're a smart man. Have fun with her, and the bike too ! Laughing

Thanks guys. I had a riding buddy come over and we set the sag and all the suspension for sport based on manual. Good thing I picked up the collar wrench to use instead of a punch. I will be breaking her in at River Valley tomorrow.

Damn nice bike... May i ask what you paid OTD? I have a dealer at 8100 and not sure if thats good or not... Seems fair to me, i probably should have pulled the trigger!

Nice bike! The guys at SLM / KTM of North Texas have been good to me, and they support the sport, that's for sure.

I have a 14 Yz250f and I still want to try a ktm 250f. Something about the way they look and how i think they will feel on the track.

Awesome, thanks!

That was down in Phoenix 2 weekends ago, I might get bored today and wander down to the local dealer and see what he can do for me... 7800 was my goal and wouldn't argue with an extra 95! Wink

If you can give us a ride report after you get a chance to take it out!

Update:

I was able to ride yesterday at River Valley MX here. This bike felt so light and easy under me. The MXA review was correct, don't shift gears and just let it go. I rode the entire track in basically second gear, it pulls forever. Just rail a corner and hold it on to clear all the jumps at the track. The suspension set up from the book was spot on for me.

My buddy has 2015 KXF 450 that I rode when the RMZ was down and I loved it. After getting on this bike, his bike felt bulky and heavy to me, more like it was riding me. He rode the bike and already contacted the dealer about one for him.

Came home cleaned her up and when through all spokes, sprocket bolts ect. no problems. I love my wife even more since actually riding the bike. She has to put with me and my son and new bikes and all that comes with it.
