That's a great bike , congrats!

You we're in the Legion?
Yes, 91-97... good times and plenty of action. Thanks for the kind words.

Some of you guys had me chuckling, appreciate the positive vibes. Pretty sweet how a 125 does that!

Love those bikes. It really tempts me to get a 150!

Now I have never ridden either bike, and I'm not claiming to know much, but just a thought, is it really worth swapping suspension out? It would mean having to set up the stuff on your SX which might be an extra drama you don't need. I also reckon the colour of each set matches the current bike they are each on! Just my 2 cents

my thinking mate was turning the 250 into more of a off road bike, GP/HS stuff...figured the valving from the 125 would be fairly close. In reality, I am a track hound and will probably leave the Ohlins stay put and keep the lightness of the 125 as is. Maybe in the spring for the US, I will go the BOS(awesome suspension) route or just ride the damn thing.

Awesome bike! The fun factor for you is going to a whole new level!
By the way...that new 125 proves that you are and will always be, only 16 years old!

keep us updated when you get the new carb setup. It sounds pretty impressive,

I've been batting around the idea of a new 125 or 150. Not real sure how I would do though, at 58 yo and 225 lbs. Last time I owned a 125 was my 1977 CR125 at age 17 and I weighed a whopping 135 lbs. I'd prob be better off with a new 150 due to my weight, but what do you guys think - am I too heavy even for that?

125s can teach a rider so much, enjoy the hell out of it.

TC125

Hope I have been around long enough and posted reasonably well to have a thread like this. Pretty excited about this bike, will be a bookend to my KTM 250. Plan on swapping the suspension and putting a STIC Keihin on the 125, about it. Kool thing is many parts that I have for the 250 will be used on the 125, extras that I never used for the 250.

Telling you guys, bike looks great in person.

What is wrong with your garage ?? No benches, no posters, no tools, no floor mats, You need to trick out that garage to be worthy of the bikes sitting in it. Cool

Haha... those are 2 stalls out of four. The other side is the work area, fridge, wood stove, benches, mats, etc. Appreciate the advice though!

@swatdoc... you may be a big guy and older, but that shouldn't stop you. There have been riders that have satisfied one or other or both of those requisites and ride 125s. Have fun. Will keep you posted on jetting and such, sounds like it may be pretty darn close out of the box.

@dimetime.. thanks man, pretty awesome of you to say, appreciate the good vibes.
