Basically had to ignore my ego and listen to my conscience on this one.

(The 2016 KX450F in the background is for sale and a new avatar is forthcoming).

Ironically (or perhaps not) my last 2-stroke was a 2006 YZ250 that I bought new. This one's an 07'. Thing was flooding bad. Previous owner said the brass overflow tube in the float bowl broke and he fabricated a replacement. I discovered that the replacement was a uniform cylinder and it was bottomed out, effectively sealing off the overflow exit (imagine putting a straw down on the palm of your hand). The tube has since been modified & the overflow now passes fluid. Ready to rip!

Already has a Vforce3 and a 9oz flywheel weight. I've got an Acerbis plastic skid plate I need to install. Also got a zip-ty racing big tank on order. The reality is that I'm doing more off road these days. Might need stiffer springs and someday maybe a 295 kit. Came with Mich starcross 5s...

Nice man! I’ve got a set of vforce reeds for my 05, but need new peddles before putting it on the bike. I know what you mean about doing more off-road. It’s more laid back and all around more worth the money. I picked up an 03 that I’m partially parting out and will eventually turn it into an off-road bike. If you ever make it down south let me know so we can go riding.

That is a clean A$$ 2007. I totally suck at riding two strokes but I've found recently that I'm probably no better on my 350. What did you pay for that gem?

A little more linear torque. That with a pipe was more than enough. Worked waaaay better on the YZ250 than it did the KX500
