Hi lads !

Spoke with my wallet last week after selling my previous 2018 250 CRF. I had the opportunity to buy this bike from MJC Racing Team (The bike is from Thibault Benistant, the 2018 EMX champ !) (sorry for the crap pictures, the weather is junk right now, I'll take better ones when the sun will come !

I still miss the right front wheel with the Braking oversized disc. I'll also have a new GYTR exhaust.

The bike is full race spec except the carbon fiber parts (tank and subframe), the 4 speeds gearbox, the titanium bolts and a few goodies.

You can also see on the pics another YZ I bought for training. It is a full stock 2014 model.

Cheers from France !!!

Really nice! What are your thoughts about the 4-speed gearbox?

where the heck can i get one of those carbon fiber gytr ignition covers?
Give your local Yamaha dealer a call, they do sell them but whether they sell them in the US is another matter. I asked about one and I believe it was in the region of £160 UK. When I bought my YZ, the guy was selling the GYTR carbon ignition & clutch cover with the bike but I said no because it was pushing my budget too high.

Thanks guys !
I couldn't ride it for now, the weather is so bad here ... Sad I'll let you know but I also bet it rips ! I have the stock bike to compare Smile
And yes, their race bikes have a 4 speeds gearbox, but I don't have it on mine, they put the stock gearbox back in it unfortunately. I'll probably buy it later ... We'll see Smile

The silencer is the GYTR silencer, the bike has a full GYTR race kit (it's not the standard one, the cylinder is different at least).

I'm back !
I rode with this bike last week-end and ... WOW !
What a beast ! Nothing to compare with my stock YZ, this thing is really fast, the suspensions are just perfect, ... I really love it ! And I had a hell of a pleasure to be back on a 2 strokes, that's hundred times more fun that my previous 4 strokes !

She's now back at the MJC race shop for jetting and some missing pieces (front wheel and brake, skid plate, ...)

Now I'm going to design my graphic kit for 2019 but I'm not really creative, do you have some ideas for a YZ with blue wheels ? I really dig the plain look on some "fullblue" bikes.

Many thanks for your inputs !

Is the transmission custom or basically gear elimanation? What gears do you have essentially? Very nice bike and details.

As I said before I do not have the 4-gears gearbox, I have a standard one. But I really think that's it's just gear elimination (probably the 1st and the 6th gears ?)

So does neutral exist between the “old” 2nd and 3rd gears?

Is the weight savings that much to make it worth eliminating 2 gears?

Bel achat, félicitations!

For those wondering, you cannot get that GYTR engine kit in North America. I tried.

Jamais vraiment une bonne idée d'acheter une moto d'un mec qui a un gros niveau. Je parle par expérience car j'ai acheté une YZ 250 à Johnny Aubert et elle était loin malgré une bonne apparence.

Thanks all !
Aplman I really don't know yet... A friend will have his bike in a few weeks now and he'll have this gearbox, I'll let you know for sure Smile
Are you sure you can't buy this GYTR kit in North America ? That's pretty weird !!
