Been wanting a new 125 for awhile and after looking for a left over (impossible) decided to bite the bullet and buy a 2020. Got a good deal on the bike and bank got me low intrest so said sign me up. Can't wait to rip it this weekend! Any tips or tricks for these 19-20 125's ? My last smokers were a 16 tc125 and 17 tc250 so I i kind of now what to expect from this thing but best bang for your buck upgrades or setup tips would be nice. The few things i have planned in next few weeks are vforce 4 reed cage, pc shorty silencer and some backgrounds. Photo That's it pretty much all i can think of. Thanks guys

Agree 100%. Stock exhaust is pretty darn good. I did put the Vforce on mine. Also put the khein carb on after i chased my tail with the mikuni it worked much better once i found the brass that it liked but was still pretty finicky with altitude and temps. In the end i tried a lectron with the latest metering rod and its honestly magic! Nothing like ringing a 125s neck... enjoy it, you did well!

Thanks guys. Did 2 heat cycles tonight when I got home. Man is this thing quiet. Needs that crackle of a pc r304 but still damn sweet. After playing with my 17 250's mikuni I was able to find the sweet spot with smaller pilot and bigger main but it was for sure more sensitive to our new England weather then my 14 and 15 KTM with keihn pwk. Because of this I had an idea... Have a few Keihn PJ from 90s cr parts I've been hoarding. When i do reed cage swap I may try this as cheap alternative to buying a PWK

Imo the Mikuni is good on the 125. The jetting should be closer on the newer models also... not sure id put an older pj carb on.

Great bike, I love mine!
The mikuni carb is pretty good. Get a #5 carb slide which will help with bottom end response, then just normal jetting stuff and you're good to go.

Keep your money. Buy a lectron carb. The differance is huge. Better than any mod you can do. You will not have realy more hp i think. But you will have the power you should have !

The spoke next to the rimlock on the rear wheel always loosen up . Not sure why but every husky or ktm I've had always does it. Keep a eye on it.
