Good looking bike. Put a fresh exhaust and you're ready to rip.

How can you go wrong with a bike that looks that good. I am liking the black and blue Yahama's.

If I’m honest, wasn’t sure I was going to like it from the pictures, but it looks clean in person.

Awesome purchase! You'll really enjoy the bike. Bought a new 18' model for my son a few years ago. He loved it, I loved it. Absolutely rips in the single track, does great in the mountains(2 trips to the Colorado Rockies) and works well for moto too. Great all around bike. Jetting was a bit finicky down here close to S.L., but we eventually figured it out. Fwiw, JD jetting kit with the Red needle is money for 7k and above. We also added a 9 oz flywheel weight and 13 tooth front sprocket. The fww, tamed the hit nicely for single track, but left just enough for moto. The 13 tooth front sprocket made the tranny a little less gappy and made the steep nasty climbs easier, with less clutch abuse.

Good luck and enjoy your purchase.

I laugh at this every time I see it.Silly
"Put a fresh exhaust and your ready"

The exhaust on it has maybe 3 hrs?. so you need to buy another to get it to ZERO and hole-shots are guaranteed? Or what is your thinking?

Bad ass, dig the Flat Black against the Cadmium Blue shine coat.

Like the way they put the two together on the seat too.

That bike Rocks!

Nice bike, congratulations. I’ve had 3 yz250’s in the past and I currently have a yz250fx. Thinking of adding another 2 stroke to the garage and this is one of the ones on my short list. Let us know how you like it.

One of the reasons for the X is the kickstand...

In my experience, it is difficult to do better than the stock Yamaha two stroke pipes...
