Spoke with the ATM

Well... it’s been about five months since I sold my 17 450sxf and I couldn’t take it any more. I took a drive from Phoenix out to the San Diego area and picked this little clapper up. It had 23.0 hours on it when I took delivery. The next morning we headed to Cahuilla Creek MX and holy crap!! That place is AMAZING. The plan was to ride Fox Raceway Saturday but my buddy decided to wad himself up and dislocate his shoulder at Cahuilla so that didn’t happen. I can’t wait to get some more time on it and get it dialed in. The previous owner works for KTM. He brought it in and had the suspension set up for my weight and ability so it already feels super good. Maybe a couple more teeth out back and a couple clicker adjustments and she will be perfect. It also has the 2021 maps which are supposed to greatly decrease engine braking. I only got to put .7 hours on it so far but it seems pretty damn awesome.

After having been away from the board for a few years. I didn't realize this either. I thought it was any time you bought a bike.

Nice!

Personally, I think it is cool to see ANY new bike someone gets. Cause everyone loves a new bike.

Too bad people didnt speak with their wallets or whatever in the 2000s.
They did. A lot of 4-stroke wallets back then. As expected, the manufacturers responded...

how is it compare to your 2017 ?
Worlds better. It has the 21 maps on it so the engine braking is damn near non existent. Suspension is way better too.. I never got my 17 stuff how I wanted it. Granted I was on a soft track last weekend. This Sunday I’ll be at my home track so I’ll be able to get a better feel for it.

Thanks bud. Yeah I was planning to go all orange on whatever ktm I got so he saved me the hassle of doing it myself. I do miss the BUD Racing titanium pegs I had on my 17 though. I just filed the stock pegs for now.
