2019 450sfx with 5.3 hours.
This is my first bike I’ve ever had that is blue. I’ve been riding yz 2 strokes for the past 5 or 6 years and I decided to finally try something new. Nothing wrong with my current yz250 but the opportunity kinda just fell in my lap.

It already came with a few parts on it that I would have done anyways so that was a plus.
Vortex ignition
2 stroke filter cage
2020 filter cover (not pictured)
Crf axel with ride axel blocks
Guts seat cover
Acerbis frame guards.
Work’s connection rear brake return spring.

I have a few orders of my own in the mail already.

Congrats. Have you gotten to ride it yet?
Yea I bought it at the track but I’m sick and I shouldn’t have even bothered. Maybe did like 20 laps total. I couldn’t breathe at all out there. The bike is super easy to ride. It has such smooth power and it feels incredibly balanced standing on the pegs. I’m having a hard time turning in ruts but that’s because I haven’t been on a 4 stroke in such a long time the engine is throwing me off. I’ll get used to it I just need practice

Your wallet must have been talking to my wallet, because they had a very similar idea. 2017.5 SXF - FE, got it last Thursday. Coming off of a '17 YZ 250F and older 450s before that... this bike is phenomenal in every aspect. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine!! I would not have believed a 450 could feel this light/playful and user friendly.

Were all speaking with our wallet

2018.5 450 fc husky here, finally have two rides on her. It's such light years better than my 2001 yz250f in like every way imaginable, and as dumb as this sounds but i never thought a bike could turn better than my 01 250f on the tank.. holy hell was i wrong. Also electric start, best mx invention for when ur tired.

Thats a KTM thing. They like to try and climb out of the ruts. Correct sag will help some. Ride Engineering makes a bolt on Showa damper kit that fixes the problem.

Nvm, I reread and now it makes more sense. I read “it’s” as “is”

You did good OP, bought my bike stock with 2.5 hrs on it. This is the best 450 i've owned, so easy to ride.

I have an adjustable link and as you can see Kreft did the suspension, plush and turns perfect.

After the new KTM comes out going to try and snatch up a left over in a few years.

Jealous of the factory edition! That’s probably what I would get if I bought new but I’m more than happy with my purchase.

First ride I could tell it was way low in the back. Put it back up to 105 mm and It felt slightly better. I’m gonna put everything back to stock settings and play with it from there. Definitely gonna have it valves and sprung for my weight but for now I will experiment with what I have.

I rode one ..... then bought one.

If you do not want to own a KTM/Husky ..... don't ride one

Throw me in there too, bought this 3 weeks, was riding a yz250, hated my sons 13 rmz450, so traded that in. So much better in every aspect.
57 is my midlife crisis, just built a new 5010 as well. Weekends are fun!

Got a couple of parts in the mail today. I already installed the pro pegs before work. What a pain in the butt the ktm spring is compared to my Yamaha. Should have the rest on the bike with my bars on tomorrow.

Can anyone compare the fork settings from 19 to the 20? I am looking at a leftover 19 or even a 19 with 15 hours on it (all 350sxf). Airbox cover and fork settings seem to be the only difference. My gut says put the money into revalving the forks and it will be better than stock 20.

Got my foot controls dialed(almost). I didn’t realize I didn’t have any torx. I’ll have to pick some up tomorrow I guess.

Why do you have two different brake springs on the bike? The one on the master replaces the one on the pedal and is adjustable to get a better feel.

It came with the bike. I think it’s to compensate the oem spring, but as you can I have the crf one. The brakes feel fine with 2 springs on there so I’ll keep running it that way.

Super nice bike man. What's with the duct tape?

Throw some backgrounds on that bad boy! Looks awesome.

I was attempting to keep the air filter dry while washing because I don’t have a wash kit yet. It didn’t work lol
