Spoke with my wallet

Edited Date/Time 4/19/2015 9:54pm
So I finally went and picked up my new bike on Wednesday.
So far, I've just thrown some spoke wraps on (had em laying around..otherwise would have done front wheel blue), grips, and some cheapy numbers.

Gotta work for a few hours then going to break her in.

I haven't had time to give it the "Digger29" treatment yet but rest assured, it will be coming shortly, along with graphics.

Definitely like the Husky look. Not a big fan of the spoke wraps, but everyone has different aesthetic tastes!

I'd sort of thought that Husky would have used the KTM dealership network but locally it doesn't seem to be the case. I wonder what part of Husky sales will be scavenged from folks who would otherwise be KTM purchasers. That could definitely be an issue in Husky dealerships that also carry KTM.

I'm not a HUGE fan of them, but I think they're ok.
I would rather powcoat spokes, but I just bought it 2 days ago so I threw some stuff on that I had around.

The place I bought mine from sells KTM, Husky, and Artic Cat.

I plan to keep it stock looking but switch colors..
someone photoshopeed a bike to have red wheels, a scalvini pipe, and red graphics.. but I can't find it right now.
Basically, replace the blue with red and get rid of the yellow.

But yes, the stock graphics in my opnion are pretty legit.

thanks man! I think a blue front wrap set would look better... would pop off the yellow fork guards better and break up the yellow.

NO worries.. Motocity KTM in west phoenix, I got it for.. I think it was $6152 OTD.

Sweet bike but why not rebuild a blown bike
1000 to buy the bike
500 for revalve
1000 for dlc coating
500 for transmission gears
300 iwc coating on trans gears
100.00 new plastics
200.00 new graphics
400.00 excel a60 rims
200.00 powder coat frame
80.00 powder coat hubs
200.00 new spokes
100.00 new handlebars
100.00 new clutch perch and brake lever
200.00 new tires
100.00 get engine covers powdercoated
200.00 new crank
200.00 new cylinder coating
100.00 get head modded/fixed
100.00 oem gaskets
100.00 oem piston
All new clutch 400.00
Leaving an extra 1000 for any other parts needed and this bike would be far better than any stock bike

are you really comparing buying a brand new bike to the rebuild of a blown bike? apples and oranges, man

I'm sure the guy can speak for himself, but I would assume something along the lines of "because I wanted to" could be simple enough

that's kind of like saying, why hook up with a "brand new" chick when you can find a clapped out old lot lizard, get her plastic surgery, lipo, vag reconstruction, and medication for her personality disorder?

God that Husky is sexy.

I want a 300 so bad.
I spent more time looking at stock photos of the new huskys at work for monnnnths.
Finally sacked up and sold my bike to get one.

right just remember to poke a hole in the tip so the inside dries out good and spray a little wd 40 on it so it doesn't dry rot for those extended times between sex
