Spoke with my....

Not sure I can say wallet since it was a trade.
But picked this poor girl up last night. She seems like a good one with a nice body just a few image issues that are causing a lack of confidence.

Wasted no time getting her back on the road to recovery..
After looking her up and down front to back I became restless and had to know what was going on inside her.

I knew going into this she was locked up..

Once I gained her trust and got her to open up to me this is what I found.

Broken skirt on both sides

Bent and twisted rod.

Bottom end bearing toast.

And she was so empty inside her radiators.

The Shop

But here is a good example of how untouched she is. The whole frame is this pristine

The rod should still be usable good. It'll buff out.

In all seriousness though, what are your plans with her? A PC replica? A factory Kawi replica?

No idea yet. Gonna clean her up and get her running g again. Spend sone time together and see if we were ment to be, you know long term. If not shes welcome to stay until she gets her wheels back under her and finds someone that she really clicks with.

Now if we do connect, I'm not sure. Replica bike, tribute bike, restoration or make it match our 250f.

Holy smokes that bent rod is wild, I've never seen that. Sweet ride man, looking forward to hearing how she rips!

The kick starter was locked solid I bet they were jumping off the roof on to the lever trying to free it up

I mean he showed up with it on its side in the truck

I've seen rods like that before. Usually a hydraulic lock. Either left the gas on of sunk it in water while running.

Happens to the best of us.
Gotta make the lube gets where it's needed most.

In this case there were some very dry spots.

Neither matters if you're not running at the right RPMs
