I had a buddy make me an offer for my 2017 250 Husky that I couldn't refuse. So I figured it was time to go back to a 125. 2021 Beta 125RR Race Edition.
you know that fucker does wheelies

Besides the pipe has racing harness installed 19 rear wheel 38mm pwk short body with jd jet kit. It's setup more for track use. Haven't ridden it with the pipe n carb change yet. Stock it rips so can't wait to see what the pipe n carb will do.
I think it does and also think even shorter riders than me (I'm 6'3) will have to start running higher bend bars because if this. Bikes have always had a dip in the center of the seat, late 80's and 90's bikes have the biggest dip in the seat and my 03 KX250 had a noticeable dip in the center of the seat but being so tall I added enough foam to make it flatter like the 05-07 seats.
Thoughts on the ergo evolution of the diminishing seat dip?
It's a "me" world these days.

Back on topic, nice bike OP, a guy I go riding with has the 200 and loves it
I ride a 350 SXF, so of course it felt a bit restricted in comparison. I told the owner it would be fun to put my RM125 engine in the chassis to see what it would do. I guess J.T.Hagerty will know very soon! The Beta's are beautiful to see up close BTW.
I rode a local, old school time keeping enduro yesterday. I had around half an hour of ride time on the bike before the race started, the only mods I did to it was change bars and put hand guards on it. The bike worked better than I expected, I think the suspension worked better than the WP stuff that was on my TE. The motor has more torque than any other 125 I have ridden, it will chug.
I have a couple complaints about the bike though. The stock tires are JUNK and it's very easy to hit neutral. Luckily I never hit neutral when it would really hurt me (like going up a bike hill). I have new tires and I'm going to adjust the shifter, maybe I'm not pressing down on it far enough when I down shift.
All in all the bike is great and I am very happy with my purchase. I was originally afraid I was making a mistake going back to a 125. Ended up second with no time on the bike and riding one time between last November and now. I think with a little more time on the bike and some tuning, this may be my favorite bike out of the last few that I've owned.
I have around 10 hours on the bike now and I have added the following parts. New Starcross 5 tires, Sclavini pipe with Bud Racing silencer, race harness, Guts racing cover and soft foam, and Mika bars with Cycra hand guards. This bike rips, it is as fast as the 2016 TC 125 that I had. It actually has a little more low end, I'm assuming due to the heavy flywheel. I am super happy with my purchase, the bike feels light, handles great and so far I think it is one of my favorite bikes that I've had so far.
Beautiful
