Anyone have a link to the rider entry list? Any 2-strokes in?

I was just watching some press day videos on Jerry Robins Instagram and i can hear some 2 strokes in the videos

Pfft. What a waste of time. Two strokes can not compete with four strokes, especially at a sand track like Southwick. Everyone knows you need at least a "four fifty", if not bigger, to be able to go fast. Bracket and Tarmac don't ride two strokes. Don't you think they would be if two strokes were fast?

Robby Marshall will be on a 2t this weekend. I believe Ryan Dowd is riding again.
Yep.
Yes. It's amazing what a smooth track in the first non-seeded practice can do to qualifying results. Not that Robby doesn't rip there, but that was a little crazy.
I'd love to see Jimmy D ripping a 125, too bad. At least Robby will be out there.
2003 CR250R - 2006 KX250 (freessshhhh)
Robby did qualify 5th last year...but those locals will tell you they can literally see where the lines will develop 2-3 laps before they do; they know when and where to hit spots. John Dowd explained that to me several years ago.
Nesc allows 250 2 strokes to compete in the 250A/ pro class with the 250 4 strokes.....a large percentage of guys are racing the 2 strokes in that class.....and I line the fence to watch that race every weekend! The best race of the day! Nesc has their shit together... MX sports...not so much....not sure if Dowd Sr. Is racing the national but after witnessing the beat down he put on the full gate of 450pro"s a few weeks ago, easily top 10 & very good chance at a top 5 o/all.

Dowd is part of group that helps run the place...imagine he will be a bit busy. Would be cool to see him try to qualify though.

Turned 50 this year.....memory not what it used to be
I'm excited about the 2strokes, but is Southwick the best place to race one? That sand is brutal on power. Either way, those bikes are pure badness!

As always it is really about rider comfort and choice, but to answer your question 2 strokes are great there. The way they build power works great in that sand. I have not rode any new 4 strokes, so I cannot comment on which one is better.
