Thats the "Camel humps" section of the track, word on the street is that Ron Lechein tried it on a KX500 back in the '80's.

I asked Chris about it today,He said in a race it would be hard to do, He also said jumping the gap that day wasn't the hard part, making the corner was the problem, he said he overshot the corner and was almost into the corner after the spectator jump. lol

I know the down votes are coming, but some of these jumps now days are just flat out dangerous. The sport is dangerous enough. No need for these outrageous jumps that only bring excitement for most fans and bring nothing for the actual racing. It just leaves no margin for error and could end up very badly if things just don’t go perfect.

Laughing then on the last lap he would’ve stood up and done the sprinkler over it.

i get that, but really, this isn’t even built to be a jump. if someone wants to go hit it, it’s on them. how does that reedy quote go about the throttle?

I don’t see anyone doing it after qualifying when it’s all kinda of chewed up and rutted. Face looks pretty clean in that video

And I completely understand what you are saying as well, but we are at a point in this sport where track builders have to look at stuff like this now and think about the possibility of someone trying it.

That jump that Rookie White and Jeremy Byrne did out at LACR, I called that before those guys jumped it with the long flat run up to them. We all have to realize this is where we are in our sport now.
