Which track would be worthy of a national in the southeast region?

I can't imagine attending a location that would be more hot and humid than Freestone and I am told the SE is.

I def won't go if it is an artificial course in an car track infield...would have to be King's Ranch (Kevin Kelly), or better!

There are projects in works of possibilities

But the most likely is the new GA track the Kelly's are building (is it Bremen or Aonia?) and IMO, it'll be an all new at Barber because of the surrounding amenities and more to offer with the museum and facilities

Monster doesn't have the proper road and infrastructure for the big rigs. Gatorback won't happen

Why wont gatorback happen?Am I missing something here.

I believe the Kelly's track is Bremen.

So it will have to be a newly constructed venue, most likely? I can not think of any track in the SE that stands today that is of National caliber.

All things considered, wouldn't be surprised to see it at Bremen

They get some pretty big rigs into Monster, maybe just the way I went in but I didn't see Freestone as much better, track sure as hell isn't. I think I end up on a different road entering Monster every time I go but one of those roads isn't too bad. They would need some work on the pits but I think not being considered for a nat was hindering that.

Dude they had a big race at Monster one year, it was dry when they got there, but after a good rain, they had to pull everyone out with tractors and bulldozers. There's not that many level fields to park in around there, I would love the idea but Dave's right. Barber is the logical place, they are use to hosting big races and the museum is awsome.

Let's make a list because I am headed south in September, and we have several places to stop by:

Bremen (second visit)
Barber (third visit)
Bristol
Charlotte
Gainesville
Road Atlanta
Huntsville

Anyone has a suggestion, shoot me an email.

Been in a few of those at MM, I was trying to park in the grass once next to staging when it was pouring, in 2WD truck and travel trailer were sliding sideways downhill towards people's pit like I was on ice.

Never really paid attention to how they could fix it but I remember hearing Barnett had something in mind but isn't really any need if there are other reasons or venues in the way. Barber would be great, any place in the SE would be great, I thought Barber shut the mx idea down though.

No offense to Randy or any of his crew but Dade is very very far from a national track.Limited parking and the track is tiny.

Anywhere in the Atlanta area is a good deal IMO. GA is pretty central for the "lower" South and places in the "upper" South like NC and Va. Lots of creature conforts in the Atlanta area as well. Good mini vacation for moto fans.

What ever became of Burnt Hickory in Georgia? Anywhere but Gatorback. Place has been worn out since the 90's.

A new track at Aonia location no longer on the table as a possibility?
