Looking for a referral for shipping a bike from San Diego to the midwest. I need the whole enchilada (packing/crating & transport). Thanks in advance, moto brothers.

Don't know if they still do bikes , but a few yrs back had one shipped by allied van lines . they strap it to big skid built for bikes . I had no damage and while I cant remember price it was reasonable . they picked up in norcal and delivered to me in ohio... took about a week

Build a crate. Ship it cheap. Echo Global. Surely you have tools....and skills! I had one of Shorts RM 125s shipped from Mass. to the middle of Texas a couple weeks ago for $280.00 with 5 grand insurance.

If you are going to crate it up. Any common carrier will give you a shipping quote.

Try stopping by a shop and see if you can get one of their old shipping crates that a MX bike came in, probably give it to you for free, thats what I did, got a steel one and loaded her in and sent it Forward Air.

Just a friend to friend transfer I was involved in. It's getting a good going over at the moment and will be ridden on occasion. I'm sure Andrew will have the opportunity to spin a few.

Nice! Sounds like some redrock 125 action? That's a really good find. One of these days I'll score an old team 125. James Stewart's cr125 perhaps?? WoohooWhistlingWoohoo

What kind of bike is it?

Save the crate and use haulbikes, or call Greg Axtell, he is in Ramona and is making a trip west later this week with enclosed trailer. He is a bike/car hauler. PM me if you want his number.
