Team USA is looking to get their 250 rider commitment locked in here at Millville and chatter around the pits is it will be a 450 rider dropping down, with these four in consideration.
Which would you take?
Jason Anderson
Chase Sexton
Christian Craig
Justin Barcia
Personally, I'm going with Sexton.

The Shop
It would be a tough choice between Craig (good starter and a good 250 rider) And Anderson that i belive are a better rider but with some start problems this season. But Barcia? Come on.. Plessinger, Dungey and a whole other bunch of riders should be in front of Barcia..
Send barcia packing.
He's a lousy choice to represent the United states of America in any way, shape, or form.
MX2 Barcia
MX3 Sexton
Let Tomac race the best of the best.
Sexton will have the future MX1 races.
Barcia will give his all no question.
He has gotten stronger and more fit, and will be WFO all day long on that 250.
Only question is will the GasGas 250 hold up
Sexton - has to be our #2 rider, he's super consistent, very fast, very fit, and is blatantly our #2 best 450 rider.
How anyone can justify not taking the top 2 for the 450 riders is beyond explanation.
As for who rides the 250, its debatable for sure and I'm of the opinion that assuming the riders WANT to ride the 250 (which they have said they do), I would be in favor of the following riders in this order:
1) Anderson - dude is super fast and has kept pace with Tomac and Sexton speed wise, he's just had some crashes and incidents that have pushed him back. But his speed has been there at times this year. Plus, I think he wants redemption from the incident from when he won his moto back in 2016.
2) Craig - he's on the fastest 250 bike (The yamaha), he's the most recent rider to ride the 250 bike competitively, and he's been solid riding in the 450 class in terms of speed. I'm certain he would give his every effort.
3) Barcia - He's still fast and we know he's #Merica, especially at Redbud. You know he's going to give you his every effort and he's experienced.
I wouldn't even remotely consider any of our 250F riders from that class, they aren't even close to the speed, consistency, and experience of the above 3.
Craig is to anonymous. Neither sexton or Craig turned any heads outdoors on 250. Barcia was an animal on 250.
Pit Row
MX2-Jason Anderson. Why? Because, he'd have Stupid Fun; and, we all know how well he does when he's "Smilin' and the jersey is Flyin'! "
MX3-Sexton or Tomac - whoever the points leader is at the time of selection.
I'm guessing that Eli leads the points after today...
So, I'm hopeful that it's gonna go the way I've listed; however, WHERE does Jason's 250 come from? The -ONLY- Kawasaki Motors, LTD "Factory Bike" that I know of is in the Japanese series. Over here, we've got The Monster ProCircuit Kawsakis.
I would LOVE to see Jason on one of Mitch's bikes. Again, that would be Stupid Fun. Anything that is outside the usual "day to day" training and racing life wold be an absolute BLAST for most of these guys at this level.
