With sound being an issue and dual cylinders being quite, why doesn't the AMA allow twin cylinders? Below 90 db right there. Easy Peasy.

Because that would only make sense... Why would the AMA want to make sense?

The AMA has had a NO twins rule in MX almost as long as their brilliant 4 stroke displacement rule and we all have seen how that one worked out. The reason behind the no twins rules is that it would make racing to expensive for all but the factorys lol
I HATE the AMA and wish they would go away all together, now they are wanting a Harley only XR1200 spec class in road racing and one other spec class but the manufactures are not intrested and who said the manufactures dont run the racing ? DC maybe.

I like the Ninja 250 class program idea. Young kids get to race in Europe and the US really doesnt have anything like it.

Perhaps not, but then, with the likes of Edwards, Hayden, Hopkins and Spies, the U.S. is not exactly under represented at high level, is it?
