I loved this Shift gear. Fro was so stylish in these year. Their 96-99 stuff is so much better looking than anything they have done since IMO.

The supercross #1 plate was a little heavy for Emig in 98

Notice the Scott goggles and Smith roll-offs. I dont think that would happen today. The first year for the blue Yz's looked great.

I also have noticed how much helmets have changed, even in the Mc Grath thread, they seem to be bigger and rounder now. They looked to have the thickness of a football helmet back then.

These 95 YZ were cool looking machines. They looked so different from the stock YZ's this year.

Probably one of the coolest photos I have ever seen. This is Fro at the 92 MX Des Nations. Total commitment on display here. I just wish it was a better quality picture.

I loved the looks of the 92 Factory Yamaha's. It is amazing Emig was able to win a national title on this bike because god the stock bike was a dog. I had one and no mater what we tried the damn thing was just a turd. I made the mistake of riding my buddies RM125 and it felt like a 200 compared to the YZ. God knows what they did to it but Emig's bike was always rumored to be very fast.
