Speaking of the weekly smoke screen that we have to deal with during the heat races.. are the intro pyrotechnics and watching the races through a haze worth more to the fans, in Feld's collective mind... then a clear, non eye burning, view of the track? It looks like garbage on TV, also.

I agree- especially in the enclosed domes. Even Ralph Sheheen mentioned it at the airport flying home on Sunday. If I was a paying ticket holder, I would prefer 50% less fireworks if it meant I could see 50% more of the heat races in the dome stadiums.
