with the limited factory seats available and the amount of 250f riders moving up within the next year or 2.. I think a lot of us will be surprised with amount of top guys go across and finish their career on a factory bike traveling the world.

I’d tune in if they’d get Stewart, Carmichael and Reed to race it.

I think if they changed the LCQ to a WWE match, we could see Peick attend

One team that jumps out to me is Mike Genovas Team Motoconcepts. I could see them doing it

It's going to be very interesting with 10 private teams being selected. It is all going to depend on the teams and what riders they have access to. Seems like it is custom made for Moto Concepts, but do Tony and Mike want to deal with international travel etc? Do they sell his products and BullFrog Spas worldwide? It has to make sense from the marketing side too.

Regardless, will be cool to see what happens!

First comes an actual schedule. Then they can start discussing riders. As of right now this is a press release. I agree on Smartop being a team and the podcast said Genova is very interested. Brayton will be your 2022 World Supercross Champion. If the series actually happens.

I'm working on a go fund me for a bike. If I qualify for a 250 west round one of the dudes on here is gonna give me $1,000.

That was way out of line. Just because I'm an Hombre fan who thinks Malcom is a boneheaded rider doesn't give me a right to attack his character. I've never met him and he may be a delightful man. That was an immature and unwarranted comment I made.

Everyone on the track without a salary that pays them to race the Nationals will be trying to race the WSX series. Next year the outdoor series rider attendance is going to be very different.

Hunter has said he is racing it this year.
I think this year u could see more riders competing as its only going to be around 4 rounds. And it would be no different to doing paris aus x and monster cup. And plenty of riders have done all those in the past.
Anderson webb wilson brayton reed were all doing those in 2016-2019.
Then in years past look at who has raced the australian sx season. They will just race worlds now instead of aus. And in recent years there has been guys like peters oldenburg blose. I expect to see similar guys lining up.

I could definitely see Kyle Peters racing it. Seems like if there's a gate falling anywhere in the world, he wants to be behind it.

I think this series steals a lot of the Aussie riders and teams. Wouldn't surprise me to see half the field of Aussies and the remaining spots being guys just outside of factory rides in the US and a few Euro guys

So far these World SX conversations, have focused on American based riders, but don’t forget there’s a fair number of others who’d be up for it.

Some European riders, like Soubeyras, have shown they’re plenty competitive at the annual Paris SX, and then you have younger guys, especially Aussies, who could see it as a stepping stone to AMA SX.

It won’t be just American riders looking to extend their careers. The clue is in the title; “World…”

Keep hearing k roc is signed, sealed and delivered... we will see...

As far as the euro guys... all that training that allowed them to crush us at mxdn, well, hope they don't get injured too much racing sx... sx is a completely different, and more dangerous, animal....

i imagine many privateers who only race SX every year will raise their hand. guys like

Aray, Enticknap, moranz, etc. I could see Smart top doing it as a whole team effort since there are funds to pay for them to travel as well so add vince friese and Brayton to the list.

Somebody mentioned Weston Peick.
If I remember correctly, he's blind in one eye from his crash a couple of years ago.
Probably a bit difficult to ride SX with no depth perception.

Peick cashed in his career ending insurance policy. He’s not allowed to race professionally anymore. I’m sure there are stipulations, but I don’t see it happening.
