Head says Eli, heart says Kenny. But I'm just happy that one of them gets it done finally. I am convinced about that points gap staying pretty tight until last round, I don't know if I am mentally ready for that. 😂

I think Eli finally gets it done but I voted Kenny just to keep it even 😉

I think Tomac... BUT I think he will slip up soon and get a 6th or 7th and give Kenny the edge..

It's so cool that we're past half way in the season and it's like we're starting over.. it's damn close!!

I wouldn't count Webb out at this point...its up for grabs as far as I'm concerned. I'd like to see Tomac do it and Ken has a legitimate shot as well but there's just too much racing left to tell at this point imo...

Id LIKE Webb to win it- But I don't think he's good enough to consistently and repeatedly beat those two. He will win more races yet though.

Id like Kenny to Win it- I think he will keep it tight, but...

Sadly, I think Eli is just overall a touch better right now.

Roczen is Mr Consistent, Tomac can demolish anybody but his starts haunt him and he has the occasional race where he makes dumb mistakes. Its really 50/50 at this point if you ask me. Points prove that also.

Cant forget about Tomac having a few rivals for the rest of the season though, that could shake up this whole championship, especially since Barcia is riding like he is 3 points from the points lead when Tomac is near him.

Eli seems like the obvious choice right now.
WTF are you talking about being cancelled?
I believe he is referring to places like Seattle that appear to be on the verge of getting cancelled. If the current state of affairs continues with states cancelling events that will have a large congregation of people, then it is reasonable to assume that may include supercross. Shoot, the NBA is talking about playing in empty arenas (not selling tickets)...

Eli's favorability goes way up if he can improve his starts.

Shorter season.....cancelling races. Less chances for Eli to blow it. I’m going with Eli for the first time.

I picked Tomac because I'm always wrong. Go, Roczen!

I feel like Tomac is showing an enhanced combination of determination and also restraint and both are going to contribute to his championship this year. JMHO

Eli's won 50% of the races this season. So, it's pretty obvious he's the odd on favorite.

How is it obvious with a three point gap?

Like both guys, but pulling for Kenny. I think that will only push Tomac even more to finally get that elusive SX title in 2021 and in turn stack up even more main event wins on his resume.

History says it will be someone other than those two, Webb really needed to make up points, not lose them but I'll still go with the longshot at this point.

I think we are all on the edges of our seat waiting for the night Tomac “Tomacs” himself into a points deficit. If that does happen Kenny will be there, and maybe Webb too. If Tomac proves us all wrong he’s the champ

I think Kenny keeping it close in points will help Eli, he can't over think it then and start worrying about blowing it and losing points. He still has the I have to win mentality rn. If he has a 15 /20 point lead I think you'll see more mistakes from him from thinking about it. Being close in points is helping his focus.

AC,Webb, Anderson, Barcia, Roczen have all made big mistakes (self inflicted). If not for the Triple Crown format Webb isn't even in the conversation any longer. Hell, Roczen allowed Tomac to pass him not once but twice for the lead in the span of 8 minutes and the win a few rounds back! Yet Tomac gets a bad start finished top 5, Tomac finished fourth, SEE Tomac cant handle the pressure, ridiculous!! Like him or not I think we all agree, it would be Boring ass hell if he wasn't racing.
And this coming from a Anderson fan, talk about frustrating!

Well, since he wins more races than anyone else and is the points leader...he's the odd on favorite. What part escapes you here? In the last race he passed 6 or 7 people and chewed up Roczens 6 second lead in like 2 laps when he got into second..and blew by Roczen and won. He's clearly the best SX racer on the planet and has all the momentum. Few would argue all things being as they are...Tomac is the easy favorite at this point. But golly gee, feel free to ignore the obvious...lol.

Yes, Eli is the fastest sx rider, everybody knows that.
But he also won the most races in 17 and 18 and still couldn't manage to win the title. The only obvious thing is that the guy with the most points in the end wins the championship. (We probably saw that line a dozen times here)
Or is that your first time watching an sx season?

At least kawy got alot of wins out of their investment. What did hrc,ktm get from musquin, kroc? Got paid alot of $$ for small amount of wins. Now lets not even talk. Outdoors.

Yeah, he was the odds on favorite to win those years to. What's your point? Yeeeeaaaaaawwww, it's my first time to watch an sx season...lol. I never said he was going to win the championship (although I think he will). I said he's the odds on favorite. Kind of what this thread is about.

Tomac is going to be in the lead when the series gets canceled after 12 or 13 rounds, so he will be the champ, but everybody will say "yeah, but..."

Sucks for Tomac and his fans.
