Elsinore was about 15 degrees hotter than Freestone this year.

Here's my vote for a new national, Swan MX from what I've heard Trey won't do it.

Should be Elsinore, that was the worst national I've ever been to.

having raced it myself, i just don't know that it would make a good venue. especially the nightmarish climb to and from the facility. one way in, one way out, and steep as f*ck road.

that said, the track is cool and VERY high speed. ps... i have some pictures from the race in my profile Wink

I´d buy tickets to the us in a heartbeat if it became a national. Even if it meant sitting in traffic an entire weekend
I´ll check out your pictures Peelout! Smile

Ok this year Texas wasn't as hot as it usually is. I forgot about the riders saying Elsinore was hottest race of the year

Schedule's supposed to arrive later this week.

If I'm interpreting the jungle drums correctly, there's...

A: A better travel pattern to the schedule.
B: More than one new venue.
C: Something for Southeast fans.

I like the message these drums are kicking down. Kind of a funky beat, and I can dance to it. (And no, I haven't seen an actual schedule or have the details on new tracks.

Are you dancing barefooted? Or is it more of a Techno "picking up pennies" beat?

Remember years ago when I commented about the insane travel pattern of the schedule...and I believe your comment to me was "You should keep that in mind when you have the redneck podunk nationals". I guess my idea wasn't too bad.....

I know Texas going would upset some people, and the track has gotten better... But it's not my favourite.

Having said that, why the hell does the series need to finish in California? Does there need to be two nationals in CA? I know the manufacturers say they want it too but really Hangtown and GH are the only cool tracks at National level... Elsionore/Pala have been made up drop in tracks that don't fit with the rest of the circuit...

It'd be awesome to see GH fall back into line...

Why does any of that matter for someone who lives in Australia? Just asking. Wink

First off, if Texas does that, they could have their own National Seies as big as anything.

Second, Freestone sucks as far as a National track. I laughed the first time we went there for the Amatuer National and kept asking where the Pro track was.

Many better tracks in Texas for a National.

With all that said I think they keep the National.

I think High Point and Elsinore are the ones out.

Post a reply to: So which outdoor national is getting kicked to the curb?
