It has been alluded to quite a few times, and even the 'last chance at Glen Helen' gallery has a picture of an un-named rider on a graphic-less bike. Does anyone have any insight into whom the rider is, what the team will look like (factory/satellite/private factory), and any potential sponsors?

Great to hear we will see a Suzuki 250 team next year. We have been missing them for too long.
It would be great to have them throw some support to a smaller satellite team as well.

So now the big question - who will be riding for them. I know it is early but I am sure contracts are getting close to being signed or at least negotiated.

I think their best shot is to probably hire a hotshot out of Amateurs like Sexton, Crown, Forkner, etc. Hopefully steal someone out of another program like Yamaha did with Cooper Webb.

Is Ferrandis signed with Mitch already? He would be top five indoors and out. Can't really think of anyone else of similar callibre that doesnt currently have a ride. Maybe like was mentioned above one of the amateur kids like Forkner. I guess its pretty hard considering they dont really have a youth development program going in the ams at the moment.

Who really cares if they have a AM support program.... Kawi must spend a fortune supporting 3 or 4 fast kids per season, and they're lucky if one pans out to a top 3 pro in the 250's. It seems for every Villopoto and AC92 there is a Canard and Tomac they've supported and lost shortly before or right when they turned pro.

there won't be a Gieco team next year, so it's pretty easy to gauge what riders will be riding a zook next.
