My whole fam has been sick the last week as well. Still made time to snag an EOY deal. Hope you’re turning the corner, Jeffro.

4 stroke Erik???.......my flu just got worse! Haha. J/K man! That FC350 was a bike I was seriously considering before I picked up my TC250. I just stuck with the 2 stroke in the end because I was having so much fun on them compared to my 450's. And not turning the corner just yet , as today has been the worst. Spent more time in the bedroom and bathroom then I have the living room the past few days. Hopefully get over this soon. Being sick just sucks. There is literally no positives in it.

Haha.....I bet you are correct! Btw D , I'm going in , in a few weeks to get fitted for my wetsuit. I held off on getting my goggles , because I'm going to get my eyes checked to see if I can get and afford Lasik. I have everything else already picked out. So heck yeah..... we'll be slaying here before to Long.

I gotta do the same and get a better wet suit myself for cold water. My suit is good during the summer on the Puget Sound. Colder months, not gonna happen. It was 28 degrees here this morning .
Same here D. Was really frosty. I'm looking at the 6.5mm , or possibly the 7.5mm. that would work good for just about any temp , except mid summer. But picking up a 2nd , lighter suit cost way less , so if I start to boil during those warm months , can always use a thinner suit.

Yep. I went on a ride that just did loops with my son this year. I hadn't been on one since I was 14. 28 years later... HELL NO!!! All I could feel was my balls in my stomach and nauseous. I tried finding a focal point which was the seat in front of me. Didn't help. Two minutes of hell. Here's that ride.

I hope you're feeling better Jeffro!
I hung out with my mom, and my adult son and daughter for Christmas. It was awesome!
I bought myself a tiny Marshall tube guitar amp for Christmas and I'll be riding my YZ125 at Pala/Fox Raceway on Saturday for the first time after a crash last February.

I hope the new year brings you some awesome times and someone special.

I hope you are feeling better!! I wrote you a long essay like I do but heard a knock on the door and when I took my phone out of my pocket it had somehow sent a screenshot to like 20 of my contacts. Lol
It was our first real Christmas with out our daughter. She is on a cruise with her boyfriends family while he is on leave. We have been sick the last few years during Christmas mainly because we do Disney most years the week before. I usually get it the worst. This year we visited family in Orlando and decided to get a room for a few days at our favorite hotel Animal Kingdom Lodge. Due to our animal conservation efforts we get taken care of pretty well there and are regulars. We are usually the last ones to leave Jiko the main restaurant and closed it down again this time.
Had a mellow Christmas at home with some nice gifts and some good food. Dinner at my parents and good times.
I got everyone a patio garden self feeding planter box. They work amazing and grow amazing plants effortlessly. Just have to fill the reservoir with water every week or so.
Hope the worst is past you and you all have a great New Year!!

Still have my TC and no plans to part with that one. But wanted to try something different and after trying two different 450s (Honda and KTM) the last couple years, I know I’m not a 450 rider. This 350 is the closest thing to a 2 stroke I’ve ridden.

Gratuitous TC shot:

You definitely have the best of both worlds Erik. I had been thinking of selling my 18' TC 250 for a while now , and right when I get ready to sell it , I back peddle and can't get myself to do it. I even sold my exhaust and some CF parts to a fellow vital guy here ( Alex434 ). I think it was you who told me , that you didn't much care for the STIC on this 250.......I tried it , and I concur 100%. Was a mistake on this bike and I sold that as well. I don't know , but I think I may have jumped the gun on selling the parts. Kind of want to re-try it out again this spring and see if it's way friendlier to ride without the STIC.

Well guys , last night was probably the roughest night for me so far. I woke up at 3:00am and my bed was totally soaked with sweat. I was burning up , and got up and walked around the house a bit to cool off , then had to strip my bed down in the middle of the night. Threw on some more sheets , which got pretty wet as well. So today I'm washing up two full sets of everything. Dying of thirst all day today so far , but actually feel a little bit better. Appetite is coming back a little bit too. I have a hard time gaining weight anyways , and going on about 4 days of eating like a bird , I think I've lost a good 10+lbs. Time to start and re-build myself. Feel like a 5th grader could whoop me right now.

And thanks again you guys for the Christmas stories and all the well wishes. And to you guys that posted in here that got sick as well , I'm glad to hear you are feeling better.

Jeffro mate I hope get on the mend soon and find people like minded to spend the holidays with next year. I’ve spent more Christmas’s alone in the pub than I care to remember but am very lucky now to have an awesome family of my own. Wish you all the best.

This is going to sound bad but take it with a grain of salt ....I don't use drugs or even drink but when I get sick I'll take one of my wife's Percocets and I swear it's like a miracle drug. Completely get rid of the body aches and even strangley enoufgh stops stuff like runny nose. I Don't touch them the rest of the year but my God they work amazing when you're sick with the flu. Just obviously be careful as they are highly addictive

Oh man they call that damn thing the ring of fire. I rode it once at the evergreen state fair when i was 16! It was the end of summer 95.

I was hanging out with this girl friend of mine and i ran into two friends from highschool. They kept bugging to go on it for like an hour. I'm still not sure why but we smoked this joint first then went on it.

All i remember is the one friend who was the most vocal about going on it. Grabbing onto the side of it and screaming like a girl while me and his brother laughed hysterically the whole time during the ride from him screaming.

Yep, that's what they call it. Its at Wild Waves in Federal Way. About ten minutes from the house. Although I wasn't screaming, I was definitely thinking this is B*** ***T.

Hey Jeff, sounds like you're on the mend, so I'm glad to hear that. I'll keep it simple...Christmas can be very joyful and full of laughter and fun, but it's also extremely stressful for many of us. Back to simple...I only know you through Vital but I consider you a friend and a brother. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, lol. Looking fwd to 2020.

So sorry to hear you spent the holidays feeling like shit. That’s happened to me before and it’s a really bummer to not be able to share festive times with your loved ones.

My wife got me some very nice Harley stuff...overpriced shirts and some cold weather gloves. But the bummer about that is I opened up the MasterCard bill and saw the charge was on my card so it’s like she bought me gifts but I have to pay for them....what the fuck???? If I’d known that’s how this shit works I would have told her to get my stuff from Walmart

Hey , thanks for the kind words Ledger. And right back at you , I know you to be one of the good guys one here!
Thanks Radical , Deja and the rest of you for all the stuff you guys have said in this thread as well.

@KennyT.....I don't think it's supposed to work like that!

@ChrisB10.......I'm not sure where to even get one of those , but next time I get really sick , I may try that out. Everything seems to be settling in my chest and am coughing up some really nasty stuff right now. But the body aches are just as bad. Shit , this one was a nasty one that totally took me off my feet. It's weird , but I kind of see a pattern here for when I get sick. It always seems to hit about this time , in the years I get sick. I get super busy at work , but always start doing all my workouts right after Thanksgiving to get ready for spring riding. Possibly over do myself a bit and wear my immune system down. Not really sure. But thank you for the tip!

I think I may have finally passed the hump on this bug , or whatever it is I have. Was actually able to eat some tacos last night and keep them down. Been about 4 days since I've even had an appetite , but it's coming back. All the guy's that are posting in TX's "cooking thread " in non-moto.....gave me some inspiration and made me hungry!

Fwiw......there are even guys in here that I've butted heads with over the years , that chimed in in here. I just wanted to say thanks again , to each and every single one of you! Been trying to adjust my stupid " go off the handle " type Jeffro replies for the past year or so. I'm honestly just over the arguments and so forth. I may not post as much any more , so when I do , I try and make them worthy.

Glad to gear you're digging out of this one! Sounds like this is a double whammy virus season. There's been a ton of people getting the bugs this year. Keep getting better stud!

Haha , thanks man!! I think it's a mutual decision between myself and GuyB. Kind of let out of jail on a leash , but I also didn't want to get into fights any more on here. 13 years here and I've met probably close to 100 people from here , and ridden with about 30+ of them. That's what it's all about for me any more. Not sure how much longer I'll actually participate in the sport due to Joint and past injury issues , but want to go hang and roost with as many as possible , before I do the dreaded " hang my boots up " thing.

You're old enough to know "You don't stop riding because you get old. You get old because you stop riding".

"Getting old is mandatory. Growing up is optional". "You're only as old as the women you feel". Need I say more?

I hope you have a better new years than your X-mas. Get out there and party like It's 1999 lol

P.S. If you do hang up the boots, can I have first option on your RM250 ? hahaha
