Tomac is a seasoned veteran. I’m sure he’s been saving some “beast mode” for this final round and is going to send it. I think this will be an ultimate test for sexton, he’s going to be under a lot of pressure . If he can keep it together and go 1-1 I think we’ll be looking at our next generation multi time title champion. Whatever the case it’s going to be one heck of a last round!

Actually Sexton needs to score 2 more points than Tomac and there are a lot of ways that can happen. I am hoping for a great battle with no out side interference.

Tie would be:

Tomac 1-6, Sexton 1-5
Tomac 2-6, Sexton 2-5
etc.

3 point gap from 1st to 2nd, 2 point gap from each position 2nd to 5th, from 6th back it is a 1 point difference for each position.

I doubt they will tie. I think 1 of 3 things happens: Tomac wins 1 moto, Sexton wins both motos, either one has an issue in a moto (crash, etc.).

Pala probably similar conditions to home Colorado track. No?

Either way, these two are badasses that know how to go fast af anywhere. It's going to be gnarly and the pace is going to be insane.

For the record we as fans won with the great racing. The heat will be the main issue this weekend and personally I lean on Eli to understand his body during these times more than Chase. If they are 1-2 it will be very interesting to see how it plays out

I agree. We have seen that Sexton has the tendency to get bothered by pressure and throw it away...and Tomac has the experience not to let it get to him, and remain solid. I'm a Tomac guy in this situation, but I don't want him to win it simply because Chase crashes under the gun, and gives it to him by default. I want to see this "clash of the titans" go down to the last lap!

I think Eli will find another level (just like all greats do) and wins moto one. The momentum seems to have slightly started back his way now.

How the heat plays into this we really can't know but if I had to bet money it would be on Tomac to come out on top.

You are wrong, if they were tied going into the last race and they split moto wins with Sexton winning the second moto Sexton would have 5 OA wins to Tomacs 4 OA wins so that would be the tiebreaker.

I expect Eli to go all out in moto 1 like he did last weekend that way he just needs to get second in moto two. Neither has an advantage over the other when it comes to fitness so that probably won't even play a factor. Chase did struggle after winning that 250 moto in the heat that one time, but he's probably fine now.



I want Eli to win in his final season, but regardless this is top 2 greatest season EVER!
