Smoke Signals

Hey fellas,
In the case of a crash and oil runs into the combustion chamber and the bike blows smoke,How long does one run/ride the engine in the hope that it ‘burns off’ before hitting the panic button...
The bike does not seem to have lost any compression.

Its an 18’ model bike with approx 20 hours on it.
No visible damage signs to water pump or radiators
It does smell oily when running and the exhaust does pop and crackle on decel
Gasket? Surely not?

Originally i thought my smoke was white but now convinced its gray
Appreciate any help??

It would burn off pretty quick. Two strokes always have oil in the combustion chamber... as long as the smoke is not white you should be ok. Is it a KX? I’ve heard they crackle and pop more than most bikes.
