Hi guys, I would like to know how can I clean the inside of a two stroke pipe. It isn´t bad right now, but since I can´t ride I figured what the hell. So any suggestions?

I used muriatic acid. Place a rubber glove over the big end and pour some inside cover the small end and rotate pipe to make the acid move around inside the pipe. Flush with water. You will be amazed how much crap comes out. This was a tip Dave Miller of DMC gave me.

Use a torch from the outside and the carbon will turn into more of an ash and comes out fairly easy.

This is the method I find more interesting, cause I don't really like the idea of burning it up. The carbon build-up is pretty tough though, are you sure it will remove it? I already used a wire wheel in the end of the pipe and it was pretty hard to clean.

I once was trying to blue the welds on a used pipe with a torch, thing was shooting some nice flames out once it got good and hot. Have a clear area when doing this!

On the outside I use WD40 and grey and maroon scotch bright, I prefer this look and once I ride again the head pipe will pick up the cool blue and purple!

blk pain on that PC logo, let it dry, then light sand it so you remove paint on the raised areas, and you'll be perfect

Another vote for muriatic acid. be sure to wear chem resistant gloves and don't get it on your skin. for the exterior, wd-40 and scotch brite pad, I usually use the green or red one.

Yeah I know ... I always think about motivating myself to do that part... but my OCD doesn’t run quite that deep! 😂

I pulled the pipe last week when I had the rear end apart for greasing and was shocked and appalled at what it looked like on the back side... it was so rusty I am ashamed to even admit it!

Buy a new pipe and save yourself the cost of getting cancer or burning down your house!
