Woohoo I bought a brand new crank for my ‘82 RM 125 (Shipped from UK) and stored it in the cubby of my RV, not realizing that sucker would rust right up. I’m hoping some scotchbrite pad and WD will take off this surface rust. Or I could go to my friend’s little bar and chase girls. (First NYE single in 8 years after a divorce). I know that’s a bizarre mix of topics but wtf.

Shocking poll results, with home crank polishing heavily favored. Maybe working on my machine is worthier than going out. I’m proud of you guys for recommending a healthy activity. 😂 There is the matter of a BS 10 pm curfew though, not that it influences me one way or the other.

Well, by way of update, I had a few good suds with friends, a glass of champagne at midnight. And the crank is unpolished. But there were some damn pretty women there— and remember my friends, no good crank goes unpolished.
