Gonna go look at them today. Not used in 20 years! The 88 could be worth a restore, and the xr will make a great pit bike.

Since that 88 cr125 looks pretty clean n original yea sure. Be great for vintage stuff and for dream race.

Uh yeah....I'd do it just for the XR.

Hell, if you buy them and don't want the XR I'll drive over and buy it from you for $500 so you can get half your money back.

The ONLY thing that raises an eyebrow is the "mileage" part of the listing. I'm always a little leary of that word when it's used for bikes. Always makes me think it's not a "moto" guy.
Could be nothing though, definitely worth a look!

Yep. The XR is worth that price. Offload it and end up with free trailer and CR125.

BTW, sounds like a non-moto guy who acquired them.

I see the ad has gone from $995 to $1,995. Just a small typo it appears. Still not a bad deal but not amazing.

87 had the shock reservoir under the seat. Not sure of the 88. Try to find a pic of a 88. A 88 lost hp that yr the 87 was blowing up because too small of wrist pin bearing. The 88 had a larger one they detuned it also. 89 got a stronger engine back. Both bikes look nice tho.
