Looking to replace my Fox 360 gear that I got alnost 2 years out of and want to replace it with something that is as good quality as it was. I'm thinking of getting the blue label gear as I can get a set reduced from £250 to £150 but wanted to see if anybody has any experience with durability of this gear?

Also, do the cheaper sets wear much quicker or is it mostly quality of finish and fit that suffers?

Thank you

I have no experience with shift but TLD has never given me issues.

I have a set of black label and white label shift gear. The white label for some reason has leather only on one knee, the knee without blew out very quickly, obviously. I don’t know why shift does this. The black label is good quality, the jersey is really light and breathable, the pant is also good, the only problem I have with the pant is it gets caught in my mobius knee braces, for this reason I prefer my fox 180 and flex air gear. The leather in the knee holds up well in the shift gear, and I really rate the white label glove for a cheap minimalistic glove.

Shift is made by Fox. The blue label is going to be almost identical to the Fox Flexair. The Black label is almost Identical to the 360. The white label is decent quality but stay away from it if you wear knee braces.

It is not durable. I have some of the Blue label gear and while it is comfortable as hell.....it wears out quickly. It's more of a performance/ function design over durability. The Black label stuff is just OK in regards to durability as well. Nothing special in regards to comfort.

This is totally accurate. If you only care about performance, go with flexair or blue label. If you care about durability, stick with 360. The shift Black label was very similar to the fox 360 in 2016 and 2017, but the new 18 and 19 is quite a bit different and quite inferior to fox 360 in my opinion.

I read this as "gear shift durability" and was gonna brag about how I still have the original shifter on my RM250 since 2004 and about a million races.
Carry on...

I'll spare you the details, but I recently slid down a cartoonishly-long cliff in my black label. No issues. Two thumbs up

Its great gear.... My biggest issue..... Finding the product, there popular line and finding it in the correct sizes. Ended up settling with Fox. No complaints.

Cheers for the pointers guys! Think I'll take a miss on the blue label, I like something that lasts over anything else!
