Sherco 300 sef-r as a Dual Sport?

11/14/2019 1:39pm
Hi guys, im wondering how the bike handles in the road?! Can it cruise at 65-70 mph without any problems? If not, could some changes on the bike make it possible? This is my dream bike now and before it was the Fe 350 / Exc 350. You think the bike can handle that? If it would im in peace 🙏

I dual sported a 300SEF-R for a while. It’s good but you definitely can’t cruise at 65-70. In fact, I think my all-time top speed on it was only 65. I even changed gearing and it still felt like I was screaming it at 55...

If you can figure out a way to stick to roads that don’t exceed 55mph, you should be fine but otherwise I’d look into dual sporting a different machine.

Now after done some research, i find ur post not making much sense sorry. A Ktm 250 exc can cruise at 65 mph okay i have read on many places. Why wouldnt a 50cc more bike not be able to do that aswell? That doesnt connect.

The ktms has the orange turbo, sherco do not. One could possibly add the ktm turbo to a sherco, but I would use the electric supercharger from eBay if it was me......

Electric is always faster than a petrol engine, just look at the Tesla or Audi etron for example. That's why the mxr must be better. That's why I suggested electric supercharger 499.00
