I know Moody dominated wire to wire, but Sexton surprised me when he passed Martin. Good quiet showing for the defending champ. I really hope he keeps this championship a good series because I don’t know how much I’ll be able to take hearing about Mcelrath’s new life changing program the rest of the season.

Are you kidding me? Martins been out with broken back for a year and a half and Sexton couldn't gap him. Sexton would be hard pressed to be top 8 on the west coast.

Lol, ok dude. What about the 19 other riders Sexton beat? He had to make his way through the pack and once he did he matched McElrath's pace and even caught him a bit. I don't understand why so many people hate on this dude

East coast is weak. sexton/Shane would have a hard time getting top 3 on the West. Sextons impressive but he doesn’t have the speed to flat out win, but consistency is the name of the game these days.

He looked better than I thought he would but Shane sure does look to be the class of the field. Hopefully somebody can run his pace and start up front this weekend.

Honestly he’s just boring and has no flash as far as style. That’s what my impression was of him last year. Something seems different this year though. He just looks way more aggressive and you can tell he has some good confidence right now

Surprised at the amount of people that think McElrath is way ahead of Sexton. Sexton's style looks like he is riding practice when he is actually going fast.

He was also just as fast, if not faster than McElrath. He just didn't get the start. If he and McElrath had traded places on the start Sexton would've won just the same. Don't understand why people think Shane is about to dominate the series.

Was so pumped for J Mart last night! Some guys never come back from a injury like that. I get it’s by far the weaker coast, by a lot, the guy who won last nights race was terrified of pointing out last season, but even then 3rd place after being off bike year plus, and outa racing close to 2 is freakin awesome.

Ferrandis and maybe Forkner. Sexton had Cooper covered last year and the only reason he had the red plate was his starts in the early rounds

Sometimes it's about contracts and paychecks aswell. I really don't understand the fanbase sometimes.

Same with the Davalos hate the last years. Ask yourself, do u rather sign a pro circut factory contract or do you go as a privateer without making any profit?
