It's a bit rich of the OP to say Sexton broke Tomac. Sure Tomac tried...and then he chose to keep the red plate going into the break. Plenty......8 more motos to go and Tomac will easily win more than half of those.

We can all agree that Sexton earned that 2nd moto win. Respect to him.

Chase didn't even gain any points on Eli today. They were about dead even in pace and consistency all day, it was very important for Chase for stop Eli's domination and the momentum is definitely slowed a tad, but to say Eli is "broken" is a huge exaggeration.
Took RC a couple but once he got it like Sexton did today that was all she wrote for Mc. I know that was supercross but I'd say we're watching the same thing. Huge day for Sexton

They are very close in speed the last few weeks and they have both started up front
Eli has ran him down and passed him which is amazing
However , if Eli doesn’t continue getting the great starts he has been and Sexton continues his trend , Sexton may end up with this title.
One things for sure , this has been a treat to watch !
I’d like to see Tomac win it ,but if he doesn’t , Sexton will have earned it in a huge way!
Congrats to both on some epic riding !
Man I love watching Moto!

I don't think you can break Tomac, but you certainly can out ride him which chase Did.

Tomac was still hauling ass his last lap. Chase was just better Moto 2.

Chase looked like he had just taken a short walk. That could be the difference when it is all said and done. Someone will make a mistake at some point.

Yup, whatever restarting problem the Honda had cost Chase the win. And it gave us a great race to watch! Amazing that the two best guys could flop around on the ground like a couple of beginners for 15 seconds or so, then take off and at the same time and put another huge gap on 3rd!

BTW, dumb title. Nobody broke anything, it’s just good racing!

When rv2 laughed because it was a beautiful flow he had in a rt corner. And said beautiful corner by Chase. You see that in 2nd and know that rider is really riding great. Not many passing areas and it’s slick . You finish 2nd smart championship ride .

You could if Chase faded off into the background like Kenny or Anderson. But Chase has been on Eli each week pushing him to the point of him actually looking tired. Not agreeing Chase has broken him, but pretty sure Eli is tired of having Chase push him the entire moto the last 3-4 weeks

Looked like Eli was going through tear offs at a pretty steady rate trying to pass Chase and eventually ran out. Seemed like he tried to put in one last push without them and then backed it down.

Not sure about Tomac being broken but that had to have been a huge confidence booster for Sexton.

Sexton was riding as smooth and fast as anyone ever has...he had a beastmode Tomac covered. What in the hell was that? Tomac was FLYING. It was insane.

I don’t think Eli was going to pass him because it was so hard to pass on that track but he did run out of tear offs and it clearly slowed his pace.
