It was my ATF bike. I am thinking about bringing this back from the dead? Thoughts from those that have done it?

Can you find a used swingarm? Not even sure they're still available from Honda. And if they are, they might be big dollars. The motor is simple enough to put in good shape. It would be a fun restoration.

Maaan! I had one and I rode it at the dunes in michigan for 5 yrs, only took paddle off couple times, if it was a car it would have had 200k on it, I'd make 50 passes a day at the drag strip, I'd burn 10 gallons a day, I had fork seal replaced once and that was it, I maintained if like crazy tho

Talked to him tonight. Told him I will give him 300. Cash tomorrow. He said another guy was coming to look at it and if he didn't take it it is mine. Says it starts with pipe back on but is leaking oil and that the swing arm is sticky. Lol. I just feel like i need to save this one.

For $300 I Will get a project.

I'd say go for it too. Especially at $300. I picked up a similar project last fall ('97 CR125...haven't been able to do anything with it yet unfortunately...life). I'm looking to pick up a '95/'96 CR250 at some point as well. Great bikes and there are many threads on here and elsewhere regarding this generation of CR. Throw modern suspension on it and it's more than competitive even today IMHO (against the remaining two strokes obviously not 450's).

Yep $400 would be a deal. Swingarm on eBay or motorcycle shop. I wonder what happened to the one in the picture? I'd get it.
